Hi Dale,
Thank you for the time and effort spent in replying to my post.
You found a lot of "good stuff" that I can use in my project.
I have found probably most of the internet material about the individuals who served in the 208th. I'm now looking for those hidden treasures like photos, obituaries, newspaper clippings, and family stories. I'm attempting to learn what I can about each of the men in the Regiment.
My thanks to you, Dale.
Joe

Hi Joe,
I'm sorry but the copy of:
208th PA Regiment Books:
* Extracts from letters written by Alfred B. McCalmont, late Lt.-Colonel 142d Regiment, Colonel 208th Regiment and Brev. Brig.-General Pennsylvania Volunteers from the front during the War of the Rebellion. Online at the Digital Library Collections at Penn State. NOTE: One page shows that William H. & Cyrus L. at the time they enlisted were residents of Perry County, Pennsylvania.
Did not show up in my reply to you I guess it was not in a format that would copy into my reply. This one page showed that William H. & Cyrus L. at the time they enlisted were residents of Perry County, Pennsylvania.
Dale
