Sorry. The book contains mainly 3 lines of descent from Simon Clouser 1746-1786 and Margaret Wagner of Middleton Twp., Berks Co. PA. The 3 went to Ross Co., OH very early in the 1800's. These were John Clouser who m. Christina Cripps; Mary Clouser who married Henry Cripps; and Simon's probably son, Simon who married Mary Noecker. There were also 3 daughters, who remained in PA, I believe: Elizabeth who married John Henry, Margaret who married Wendel Michael, and Catherine who married Robert Stewart. If there were other children, they died before Margaret (Wagner) Clouser's death in about 1824, as the estate was divided into 6 portions.
I don't see him either in my miscellaneous Clouser materials.

The material below is taken from Richard Flinn's book "The Clouser and Cripps Families of Ross Co., OH," 1987, p. 327
Margaret *may* have been a daughter of Simon Clouser. Of the early Clouser marriages in Ross Co. Richard Flinn was unable to identify only 3. Margaret was one of the 3 Clouser women whose marriages he was unable to identify. The other 2 were Elizabeth and Catherine. Simon, however, had known daughters with these 2 names. The name of Simon's probable mother was Margaret.
Mr. Flinn got no further with these 3 women, as he was unable to locate further records of them.
If she was a daughter of Simon, however, she must have been a twin, as Simon had a daughter, Mary, who died 18 Nov 1822 at the age of 6, and who is buried in the Concord Cemetery at Lattaville, Ross Co., OH.
Simon's known children were William, b. abt 1811 in PA; Simon, b. abt 1815-16 PA; Mary born 1816, probably in PA; John, b. 1819; Catherine, b. abt. 1825; Susan, b. abt 1826. Mary, Catherine and Susan died young.

I'm looking for any available information on the descendants of Lydia
E.(Eva) Lindsley and William Martin Clouser. The 1880 Federal Census
shows them living in Springfield, Union County, New Jersey. That year
the household consisted of:
Clouser, William Born in NJ approx. 1848 of German parents;
Expressman
Clouser, Eva Born 1849; wife
Clouser, Charles E. Born approx. 1873
Clouser, Eva L. Born approx. 1875
Clouser, Ida M. Born approx. 1878
In the 1900 census there is an Elmer C. Clouser, born approx. 1873 in
NJ, living in Milburn, Union Co., NJ. As the Clouser name was rare in
NJ, I think Elmer may be the same person as "Charles E." listed above.
