The photo album has photos of:

Her sisters, Mary Clouse-McCloud, Sarah Clouse-Thompson (1846-1926), Nora (Eleanor) Clouse (1848-?)
Her brothers: Rube Clouse (1856-1924), John Clouse (1850-1898), George Clouse (1863-1941), Jes (Joseph) Clouse (1866-1936)

I am SO glad to hear from you! Our families are definitely related. In fact, I believe that William was my 4greatuncle, brother to George W. (my 3ggrandfather), and I have been trying to locate William's descendants to confirm this. We definitely need to talk! I believe I also know who William and George's father was.
Not only that, but I know of two other Clouses that married Rosses. It will be interesting to compare families and most likely find out that they are all related!
Please e-mail me back directly when you get a chance at armstrong2224(a)mchsi.com. Thanks!
Cathy

I am trying to find some Clouse families in the same area. my GGGreat grandmother Sarah Ann Clouse married my GGGreat Grandfather Joseph Ross in Crawfordsville Indiana in 1852. In the 1850 census of that area I found her with her family;
Wiliam Clouse 44 M Va
Elizabeth 38 F Ind
Mary 18 F Ky
Margaret J 15 F Ky
Sarah A 13 F Ky
Phinalda 5 M Ky
Sarah Ann's Obit and death cetificate both say she was born in Lexington, Ky and that her father came to Indiana when the girls were young. Sarah and Joseph moved their family to Columbus Junction Iowa in 1869. I was hoping you might have run across somehting that might connect with this family. It sounds like our families might have been related in some way.
Thank you for your help.
