My g-g-grandparents were Jacob Clouse (1816-1879) and Susan Armbrister (1828-1893). They're buried in the Barryville Congregational Church cemetery in Barryville NY which is not far from Sussex NJ. Could my Jacob be the son of your Jacob? My grandfather had middle initials L.J. and his brothers middle initials were J.L....could these stand for "Leonard Jacob" and "Jacob Leonard"? Please e-mail me if you believe there could be a connection..I'm at a brick wall.
Thanks!
