I don't think Andrew was his brother but I believe that the Clouses in the Blackford County area were also related to the same line as I am from. Most lines descend from either Christopher Clouse or brother William from PA before OH...let me see if I can find Andrew in my data base.
Tammy

Tammy, do you know if George had a brother named Andrew? My ggrandfather first son was named George W. Clouse Andrew was born about the time your George was born. I can't find him before 1860 when he married his wife Marietta Taylor they were living in Blackford Co. IN. His marriage license states he was born in OH.

My G Grandfather is Wesley Clouse from Mitchell Indiana. I don't know what his wife's name was but he had a son that I am aware of named George, daughters Ida and Viola and my G Grandmother Emma. She married Wesley Flora and they had three children, Harry, Fred and Nell. Emma is buried in the cemetery there in Mitchell at Spring Mill Park. I assume Wesley is there also. If you have any information I would love to hear from you.

It is my understanding that Prietta Clouse Franklin's son still copies of the book "Remembrance of the Clouse Clan". I would suggest contacting the Putnam Co. (Tennessee) Historical Society. The address can be find by going to http://tngennet.org and linking to the Putnam Co. site. If this doesn't work, please let me know. I may have an old address buried in my files.

Tamie replied with the information that I would have given you. I am from that line. My curiosity wants to know if you have been successful in finding out who this Fama CLOUSE is, and, of course, can she be mine? Sharon
