Mary Ruth Selix was my grandmother. And I have a few pictures of Jane Gay (Gray). Mary married Virgil Ross, who had Dorothy Ross, who married Ed Kovanda, who was my father. Please contact me @ dkovanda(a)hotmail.com. I have more information for you.

Opps! Sorry I re-read your post and see that you were born in Penn. A first name of the mother would still help.

What state were you born in? As there are bloodline's from all over the country. It might help your search a bit. And if you had atleast a first name of the mother. Hope you have some luck.

What happend to ancestry.com it has changed alot, there seems to missing information. Especially to the Clouses. I used to be able to trace my side of the family from Asbury Clouse all the way to to the 'suposed' Phettiplace Clouse. Now I can go no further than Asbury's father Charles. All the information that used to be here was very factual. My father has a book of Clouse's and everthing that used to be here was right in the book. Now there is hardly nothing pertaining to my part of the family. Even the information that is there now, is not completely correct, names are miss spelled and so on. Is there anyway of locating the old information? If you know please post. As i will check back often. It's just nice to be able to have this info at the touch of a key stroke. If needed I will re-enter the info myself.

I have information on Lida Clouse. I have also found her name spelled Lydia or Lucinda. I have the death record of Sarah Elizabeth Beal. Her parents are listed there as George Thompson and Lida Clouse. Lida was the daughter of John S. Clouse and Mary Clouse. Lida was b. Ohio 1826. They were iving in Delaware County Indiana before 1850. She married Goerge Thompson 23 Feb 1849. Lida's marriage record shows her name as Lydia. The 1850 Indiana Census for Delaware County, Union Twp. shows her name as Lucinda.
Is this your Lida?
