Hi,
It's Chas again from Padbury in Western Australia.
I have just been searching many entries on ancestry and I seem to be lost! Not all that hard for an old bloke I guess.
>From what I can see, John Clough married Elizabeth Dawson in 1828 - the information I have found is that Mary Frances was born to them in 1876. All the records thatI have found tell me that John and Elizabeth were born in1805, this would make them both 71 when they had Mary Frances! WOW!
I am not sure what to make of some of the entries that I have found, it would seem to me that there is a generation missing between John and Elizabeth and Mary Frances.
Help please - I am confused.
Kindest regards
Chas Monk

Hi there,
My name is Chas Monk and I am a volunteer researcher at the Joondalup Library here in Western Australia. A few weeks ago I started researching a family for a Melanie Wright Eggleston. Her father was born and registered as Walter Wright but his mother, Beatrice May put him into an orphange and he was adopted by the Eggleston family. Beatice May was one of the children born in England to James Wright and Mary Frances Clough.
For weeks now I have been trying to find anything that I could on James
and Mary Frances - this morning I have hit the jackpot!
I hope that I can now grow the tree for Melanie. I have started a tree for her on ancestry.com, I know that Melanie would approve of me giving you an invite to her tree. This is assuming that you want to look at it of course.
I look forward to hearing from you either as a posting on this site or by you emailing me on rasputin(a)bigpond.net.au
Kindest regards
Chas Monk
Take care

Hi there,
My name is Chas Monk and I am volunteer researcher 5 mornings aweek at the Joondalup Libary here in Western Australia.
A couple of week ago I started a tree for a lovely lady called Melanie Wright Eggleston. Her father Walter Wright was the son of Beatrice May Wright, daughter of James Wrigh and Mary Frances Clough. She is also a great great granddaughter of James and Mary.
I have spent the past weeks looking for information on James and in particular Mary Frances - thanks to you I have found it!!!!
It would appear that Beatrice had children out of wedlock - Walter was put into a home and adopted out to the Eggleston family. He now lives here in Western Australia.
To me the information I have just come across is what I would call a real break through. I am so glad that you posted on the net.
Would it be possible to scan the wedding certifcate and email it to me at my home email address - rasputin(a)bigpond.net.au
The other thing that I can do is send you an invite to Melanies tree - it is posted on Ancestry.com so if you can email me the marriage certificate I would then have your email address to send you the ancestry invite.
I would love to hear from you Tracy. Melanie and I would be most grateful for any info that you can share with us,
Kindest regards
Chas Monk

Hello. I have done a little of research on my son-in-law's family and he is related. His 3rd great grandmother on his father's side is Angeline Mary Clough married to Charles E. Piatt. This is where my information stops. Have you found any thing else? What is the letter you speak of?
