The Clough book shows John Clough (David, Samuel, John), b. May 26, 1747,
married Ann Worthen (no date of birth) on May 7, 1767. They lived at
Amesbury, MA. The book shows their children as David (b. 1768), Miriam
(1770), Molly (1773), Anna (1775) and Ruth (1779). If your Anna Clough was
born to these parents in 1781, the older Anna must have died young and Anna
1781 was given the same name. No mention of siblings names Cynthia, Richard
or John Jr. The John Clough, son of Joseph Clough and Susanna Reeves, is
mentioned in the Clough book, but it only says he lived in Louden, NH.

I am the ggg granddaughter of Anna Clough b. 1781 in Newburyport, Essex, MA. m. Daniel Hopkins. Her parents were John Clough b. abt 1749 m. Anna Worthen b. abt 1746
Siblings Cynthia b. abt 1770 (m. Richard Mentor) and John Jr b. 1777 (m. Mary Throop Chapman)
I found a Mass. marriage for a John Clough and Anna Worthen 1767 in Amesbury, Essex, MA.
I found a John, born about the right time, as a son of Joseph Clough and Susanna Reeves, but the source didn't have any information about a possible marriage or children.
Do any of these people sound familiar or is this a completely different John Clough?

Henry married Ida Shupe in 1890 in Milwaukee. He was a photographer as I have photos of family members that he took. His studio was in Milwaukee under the name of Clough and Brown. If anyone has any further information I would appreciate it.
