Beginning March 2nd, 2020 the Mailing Lists functionality on RootsWeb will be discontinued. Users will no longer be able to send outgoing emails or accept incoming emails. Additionally, administration tools will no longer be available to list administrators and mailing lists will be put into an archival state.
Administrators may save the emails in their list prior to March 2nd. After that, mailing list archives will remain available and searchable on RootsWeb

I have James CLOUGH abt 1786 and Elizabeth abt 1786 . Elizabeth's possible nee TAYLOR or WEBB or ???
Daughter Ann abt 1805 ...married John MITCHELL in Kirkheaton, Yorkshire 11 Jun 1824. Two known sons George and James.
Ann married a second time in 1833 in Dewsbury to Benjamin WHITWORTH abt 1805. (my line)
Their children Betsy, Lavinia born in Almondbury, 1841 Census. And daughter Emma was born 21 July 1841. [My GGm] Birth Cert says Huddersfield.
The Whitworths were in Lancashire in the 1851 and 1861 Census. Emma m John EAVES in 1858.at Eccles. They came to US in 1864.
James and Elizabeth CLOUGH were born in another county, per 1841 Census. Where?
I lose the Cloughs after the 1841 Census in Almondbury.
Betsy married an Edward Ohanlon [sic] per 1861 Census... IGI marriage has his name as John Edward O. STANLIN. and Betsy HAMLIN on Emma's marriage cert.
Other names that connect with the CLOUGHs:
JONES, MARSDEN, MARSH, MASON, and RICHARDSON,
Other locations: Manchester area,. Ancoats, Barton upon Irwell, Patricoft, and Bolton.
Other connections to a 'Holy Trinity' and an '(Old) Crows Nest)' locations unknown.

Hi,
I've been stumped for years but I am looking for any info on James Gilman Clough, His Fathers name his dob etc.
It could be that he is the first Generation in the US which is why I can't find his Birth records.
What I currently have is..
