It has been written that Arden Clough and familty spent about two years( abt
1816) in Ticondeoga, New York . Their house was at the foot of Buck's
Mountain as was William and Hannah (Clough) Sweet's who also spent these
years in Ticonderoga. My ancestors William and Hannah (Clough) Sweet (
Hannah was Arden Clough's sister). Arden and family returned to Hartford,
NY and William and Hannah remained in Ticonderoga for many years. Does
anyone have any details about these few years. Anything at all will help.
