Hello Mary,
Yes, this is the correct family. It is interesting to read about the Clough ancestors of some of my relatives. I wanted to find a way to locate my Chase ancestors so I tried to do it through descendents of Mary Ann Gilman and Cyrus G. Clough. Thanks for the interesting information.
Sincerely,
Del Chausse in Paso Robles, Ca.

I am a descendant of this line.Edwin Clough married Alice "Bertha" Chase and they had 5 children. Of these was born my Grandmother Eleanor Marion Clough.
My father when he was alive asked me not to pursue the family. I did as he wished. He passed away in December. I am the youngest of his children. You can email me at mauldinrsgw(a)msn.com or 307-245-3309.
I have the line as this: John Clough married Mary Saunders(sp)
John Clough Jr. Married Percy Page
Aaron Clough Married Abigail Moulten
Patience Chase Married Simon Clough
Simon Clough Married Mary Avery
and so it goes. Thanks for your time. Bobbi

I have a indenture from Williams father leaving him 50 pounds in 1851 when
he died. It said to my son William who now lives in America.
So folks take a look at your trees have you any of these names on them.
