Well folks this finishes 1830. I'm sure I've probably missed some,
especially notices of probate as they were published several times. If you
are sure you have people during this time period in Chitt., I would suggest
you order this Burlington Sentinel and go through it with a fine tooth comb.
There were some missing issues, also.
I may be able to do a few more, but as this is very time consuming to hand
copy and I have previous obligations that I need to get back to I won't be
able to do much more.. I wish I could do the whole two rolls for you.
Maybe later on I can order them again on inter library loan and do more.

Hello All
Below is a site that Debbie sent to me, I have checked into it a little bit
and think it is worth passing along to all of you. You might want to browse
around on it sometime when you have extra time to do so. It seems very
informative.

Hi Rebecca-
This one's mine! Joseph CLOUGH was the son of Jabez (Zacheus 3, Thomas 2,
John) CLOUGH and Sarah YOUNG. He was born 28 Jul 1750 and d. 2 Jun 1822 in
Epping. He married Susanna FOLSOM (b. ca. 1757, d. aft. 1830), the daughter
of John FOLSOM and Eleanor BRACKETT. I have more on the Folsoms and
Bracketts if you want it. Their children were : John b. 1777, James b. 1780,
Joseph b. and d. 2 Jun 1782, Brackett b. 1785, Ellen b. ca 1790, and Susanna
(my line) b. 1795 d. 9 May 1834 in Hawke, m. Henry Elkins 10 Jul 1820 in
Kingston.

Reposting.
Am looking for info on Josephine CLOW (or probably CLOUGH) b. New York
City ca
1840 and married an Irishman from New Windsor, NY named Thomas BALFE.
They had 10 or 11 children of whom one, Mary (or Mary Ellen) BALFE b. 21
May 1844-5, married a rascal named George Smith CHASE on 28 Sep 1881.
They lived in the Bronx as far as I know. The are only a couple of
dcuments that
mention either Tom BALFE or Josephine. In those entries made by 3rd
parties, Josephine's name is spelled CLOW and CLOUGH, but that could be
bad
spelling, too. Josephine's father is strictly rumor in 2 forms - John
and Joseph who would have been born abt 1815. Trying to track down
CLOUGH's is a little like chasing SMITHs in Utah to a neophyte like me.

Hi Marie,
Welcome to the List!
Sorry to say, but I couldn't find any of the names you mentioned in my database.
I have no Tracy Clough, Kenneth Ford Clough, nor Violet D. Silver. I have two
Gales but neither have siblings that you mentioned.
You can take a look around my website for individuals. It's at
www.cybercom.net/~ragtop.

Hi Elizabeth & John,
I can't find Rachel Clough, William Hindman, or any Framptons in my database.
Strange, though, because I recognize the name Frampton and thought I would find
it.
Does anyone else recognize the names?
John, Thanks for the kind words!

Do you have a listing for Joseph Clough who was born 1750 and died 1822?
He sometimes used the name William and lived in Poplin, Epping and
Salisbury, MA. His wife was Susanna Folsom Clough but I don't have any
dates for her. Thanks for looking. Rebecca Clough Harpole
Does anyone have a record of a David F. Clough from Watervliet, New York who
moved to Brattleboro, Vermont (Sunset Lake Road) with his wife Mary M.
Counter Clough (originally from Montreal, Canada)? Their daughter Daisie
(Daisy) Lucyann Clough married Albert Cadwallader Buzby in 1911 - that is the
only date I have for that family. Daisy later married a Fred Becker.
Thanks, Lea Simitz Buzby

In researching our Cloughs of New Hampshire at the state library, I picked up
a few dates, facts and names that may interest others. E mail me privately
and I'll look up names for you.
I have mostly VR from Salem NH, about 60 births from 18th and 19th c (both
parents names are given) , a few marriages. Also some Cloughs from the
Littleton NH history although most were in Lyman NH.
