I've been trying for a year to tie my Rhoda Clough in with the
"official" Cloughs of John and Jane, and last week I figured it out!!
I've been so excited, but didn't post because I wasn't sure anyone was
there! It seems my Rhoda moved off to the wilds of Vermont, everyone had
her as a dead end and now there's a whole branch noone knows about.
If anyone's really interested, I can include dates.
Here's my line:
John (1) and Jane
John (2) and Mercy Page
Benoni Clough and Hannah Merrill
Nathan Clough (1) & Rachel Brown
Nathan Clough (2) & Abigail ?
Winthrop Clough (1) & Mary ?

Moses Miller & Rhoda Clough

Hi everyone, Just want to say how nice it actually is when we do put our
lineages in with our message. It really shows how we are all related
without getting tons of paperwork from each other (unless we want it)
and lets others know where we are all at in our searching. Kathy
Hi everyone: I couldn't help but wonder how many new subscribers were on

For those that are researching the Merrill & Page, or Belcher line
(or any of the above lines, since there was often families intermarrying)
I sure would like to talk with you....
I've sent out this message before, but wondered if anyone has information
on David and Judith's marriage...any documents regarding it or anything?
She was married to a henry Collins, I wondered about that marriage.

Hi Kathy;
I wrote to Joanna earlier this evening. Actually, both of you are right
as far as I can see.
The interesting thing:
Jane and John Clough had several children as you probably well know.
Two of them - John -2 and Samuel (being brothers) are yours and Joanna's
ancestors.
The connection is Sarah Hunt for you- (child of Hannah Clough and John
Hunt) - Sarah Hunt married into the Clough line again (Peter CLough, son
of Samuel Clough. Samuel Clough was son of John and Jane Clough and
brother to John-2).
Pretty cool!

For Joanna, Hi there. My info comes from Blaisdell Papers Vol 3, No 8
Supplement and Vol. 5 pg. 162, also Essex Antiquarian, Vol IX No 2, pg
50.
Thomas Blaisdell and Dorothy Clough had children Thomas m Olive Thayer,
Peter m 1st Phoebe Otis 2nd Betsey Piper, Phillip m Hannah Jameson
(Jemson), and Sarah m Levius Batcheldor.
Does any of this coincide with what you have? Anxious to find out
which one of us (if not both) is right. There very well may have been 2
Thomas Blaisdells who married Dorothy Cloughs.
Let's work together to figure it out. Kathy
Hi Bonnie, thanks and thanks for your line as well. I found the Clough
book online at FTM's Genealogy Library. It is wonderful!!! I have
really been extracting info. Found it last night, they have the whole
book online. You need to subscribe seperately to the library. But IT
IS WORTH IT!!!! You can't believe what they have there. Thanks again,
Kathy

I am a little confused by the e-mail from Kathy Kerr (10/30) since
I also have a Dorothy Clough md. to a Thomas Blaisdell with a
son Philip with a completely different line from John-1/Jane:
John-1, John-2(Mercy Page), Caleb-3(Mary Mason), Caleb-4
(Abiah Tomson), Dorothy bn. Salisbury MA 22 Dec 1730, md.
Thomas Blaisdell in Kingston, NH 25 Oct 1750.
Could someone who has the Clough book look these lines up ?
Does one of us have an incorrect line or are there two Dorothys
md to Thomas Blaisdells ? Thanks for your help.

Hi Kathy,
The children were:
ELIZABETH B Dec. 16, 1642
MARY B July 30, 1644 Died young
SARAH B June 28, 1646
JOHN B March 6, 1649
THOMAS B May 29, 1651
MARTHA B March 22, 1654
SAMUEL B Feb. 20, 1657
Everyone is still looking for proof of Janes' maiden
name, and the date/place of the marriage of John & Jane.

Dear Clough Researchers:
Yes I am still out here in space waiting form someone to post something about
a CLOUGH who is not in the North Eastern part of the United States. I think I

from around Goochland Co., Virginia.
