Wish we had known you were in Utah when we were there last summer. Maybe
next time we're out that way. My husband is from WY; so, we get there
often.

Hi Sheila, Sorry to hear how the storm hit you so hard. I guess no one is
prepared for such a bad storm so early. I hope it is not a precursor of a
bad winter. The weather certainly has been strange all over the country.
We have lost quite a few trees in VT and the lake was way over flood stage
last May. In California, we didn't have a summer -- it was way too cool.
However, our fall has been beautiful. I took a cruise up the coast of
Norway with a friend and it rained 13 days out of the 14. Needless to say,
I stayed on board ship many days rather than walk around town in the cold
and rain. I am still working on my grandmother's book, journals and
diaries and was all ready to publish when my brother objected to parts.
That took my motivation away.
I do go to Salt Lake for a week with friends every March which is fun.
Hope you get back in your house soon. Millie

Dear Listers,
Very bad storm here in New England. Just in CT over 800,000 of us lost
our power. The three of us are currently staying in a hotel in Groton, CT in
order to have power, heat, and food. However, many, many others have not
been so fortunate and are trying to "live" in their very cold homes.
We are hoping for the power to go back on very quickly (it's been out since
Saturday afternoon) as neighboring areas are now back online. However,
like a lot of towns, my town was completely knocked off line. Fingers
crossed for a quick recovery.
Although I am no longer your Genealogist, I wish all of you well and please
know that I think of each of you with whom I had a personal relationship.
Please feel free to contact me privately and let me know how you are.
Best Wishes,
Sheila Andersen
