SPRINGFIELD - Juanita Ruth (Clough) Moores, 88, died peacefully Wednesday, Oct. 13, 2010, with family by her side at Care Ridge Estates, after a four-month battle with cancer. Most of Juanita's free time was spent traveling around her local area, tracing the genealogies and community history of her neighbors; filing and recording it all in her scrapbooks and diaries. She had accumulated 70 years of newsworthy history. Juanita was predeceased by one brother, Elwin Clough; and a daughter, Yvonne Marie. She is survived by son, Larry and daughter-in-law, Lauren Moores, of Meriden, Conn.; daughter, Beverly and son-in-law, the Rev. Carroll Smith, of Glenburn; daughter, Fae Gilbride of Bangor; son, Jerry and daughter-in-law, Judy Moores, of Lincoln; son, Doug Moores and his partner, Cindi Gauldin, of Webster; and daughter, Patricia and son-in-law, Michael Cliff, of High Point, N.C.
