Dear List,
For those of you who have sent me recent e-mail's, etc., I will get back to
you soon. With a couple of very recent deaths I find myself out of the
normal routine at the moment. No worries...things will be back on track
soon and I will be responding to all of your requests. Many thanks for your
patience! :-)
Best Wishes,
Sheila
Well we have now had it all. I live by Daytona Beach in Florida and we
have had almost 3 weeks of 20's degree weather with some in the 16 and
17. and SNOW. I made my first snow ball in 20 years. If this is the
new turn in weather I will need to get warmer clothes. Judy and Mom
I hope the Holland Land info was of use to others.

Hi Bob,
Thanks for the e-mail! :-)
I sent you a copy of the bulletin via e-mail on Dec. 14. I will send it
to your e-mail address again in another e-mail since this reply goes to my
RootsWeb list.
The old Christmas card can be seen on our new website at
_www.JohnCloughGenealogicalSociety.org_ (http://www.JohnCloughGenealogicalSociety.org) .
Have a look and let Langdon know how you like the new site.
Best Wishes,
Sheila
Hi Sheila,
I thought I paid my dues but do not remember giving you my email address.
In any case, neither the printed bulletin or the internet version has
arrived yet. Sorry to be such a bother.
I understand that an x-mas card from my Mother and Father is on the front
page. Amazing as it is one family document I do not think I have!
We did get to Salisbury early in August and took pictures of the old and the
new monuments. Everything was very quiet and impressive.
I sent a photo to Norma Lord as I not think she had seen the new monuments
yet.
My stint with bad health over two years ago is now pretty much behind me.
However, I was slapped down with a bacterial blood infection which , thanks
to modern antibiotics, resulted only in a 5-day stay in the hospital. Could
have been more serious without prompt treatment. It was my wife who
insisted I go to the hospital immediately. It was on a Saturday -the second
time I have been knocked down by some bug on a Saturday! I am now back to
playing the organ. Have played a couple of Episcopal services and a short
concert. I composed a "Lullaby on an old Polish Carol" for organ. I played
it for the first time at a concert after Even Song, My former assistant at
the Heinz Memorial Chapel played it for the first time to a larger public
this past December. The Chapel Choir sang 5 Christmas concerts at the
chapel and the Lullaby was featured at all concerts. The last concert was
broadcast over our regional Public Radio FM Station. It was well-received
-not with thunderous applause but with a much more appropriate few moments
of quiet!
Happy New Year!
