Dean,
Thank you so much for your thoughtfulness! At this time we're unsure if
these Clough's were related or not to my wife. We're still in the
searching phase.
If you see other items, or have any info that might help in our search, it
would be greatly appreciated.
Again, thank you.
In Service for Christ,
CARL
Susan,
What a joy to see a posting from you! What fond memories are swirling
around in my head about our first Clough Family trip together! :-)
How wonderful that you were able to visit the land "Down Under!" I've
wanted to visit for a very long time but fear the extra long time on the plane may
not be doable for me. I fear I would have to be heavily sedated for the 14
hour trek across our largest ocean. My fellow passengers may not appreciate
me being out like a light if my son was not and decided to investigate the
pilot's area and/or get under the feet of the crew. :-)
I've recently worked on your mother's genealogy and will be getting that out
to her soon. I'm in a mad rush to get things done since our President set a
date.
I hope to see you and your mom at one of our reunions! :-) You must meet
Rhys! :-)
Very Best Wishes,
Sheila

Greetings, all Clough listers, near and far--I wish I could throw in a picture of a storefront I took while on a trip down under last spring (April 2007). It was either in Auckland or Sydney, I can't recall now...but the shop's name was "Sallie Clough" and it was on some some famous street where they take tourists to have lunch...it had to be Auckland, now that I think of what we were doing that day...I snapped a picture of it, happy to see that I was among family!! Greetings, "Cousin Owen", from less than sunny Central Coastal California, it feels more like the land of my birth, Washington State...the "West Side, or the WET side"
Your "Cousin Susan" (Green) Clack (whose grandmother was also named Florence Clough but not the one you were talking about)
and yes, I call everyone cousin, just ask Cousin Sheila... :-)

girls. Whether he knew of his Clough connection, he never mentioned it to me and
that was my name at the time. Have no idea if he is still in California, but
you might Google him.
Good luck, Susan Clough Wyatt in Albuquerque (still looking for parents of

I would suggest to go to a Photo studio to see what they have to say. I am sure they must have dealt with this. also go to a musuem where paintings are cleaned. they might know how to get mildew off. Judy
Vern,
I found 2 sites giving information for photos. Might not hurt to try.
http://www.preservationhelp.com/how_to.htmhttp://www.yesteryearmemories.com/mold_mildew_damage.asp
Hope something helps. I have heard of freezing photos, then working
with them to remove mold/mildew. We have talked about this in our
genealogy meetings locally.

Hi,
I have been looking at an old photo album and a lot of the pictures have
mold or mildew on them. Do you know of any way I can clean them up? This
album isn't mine but I want to copy a lot of the pictures because they
are of family members.
Thanks,
Vern
