Dear Cousins,
Many thanks to you who sent well wishes! I am still looking forward to
feeling well - let's hope it's in the NEAR future - so I may resume with my job as
well as my work for the JCGS.

Dear Clough Cousins,
Our daughter Melinda Clough who lives approximately 40 miles northeast of
Utica, was not affected. However, she did spend much of the evening in a
friend's basement.
Thanks for your concern.

Congratulations Sheila!
A new baby is always an exciting moment!! (And especially when it is a
Clough baby.)
I reacted to pregnancy (oh so many years ago) by getting a rash all over my
body! The doctor told me I was allergic to pregnancy! That was back when
Benadryl was a prescription, too. This too shall pass.

I disagree. This is a CLOUGH subject. A new little Clough desendant.
Congrats and I hope you do get better soon.

Sheila, my best wishes to you and your husband. The illness, I hope,
will pass soon. I come from 2 very sick pregnancies 25 years ago and
did survive to tell the story. Not to scare you but 9 months of morning
sickness was almost to much for me to handle. We only have two children
for that reason. Some peoples bodies just don't like being pregnant. It
all lasted through delivery also.. but you won't be like that. Fifth
and sixth month you will feel so much better. then you can enjoy the
whole experience.

Dear Clough Cousins,
Many thanks to all of you for staying with the list despite very little
traffic and very little word from me. In the not so distant past, I have been able
to disseminate interesting facts across the list and reply to all those
writing in with Clough questions. However, as of late, I have been very seriously
ill and have been unable to even check my e-mail for many days at a time. In
fact, for the past seven weeks I have been too ill to work (which brings its
own set of issues, as I am sure you can all appreciate) and have spent the
majority of my time in bed.
The reason for my prolonged illness? Trent and I are due to have a child in
October.
Most women are able to continue with their normal lives while suffering a bit
from "morning sickness." I wish I were so fortunate. My body has rebelled
and has caused additional issues that I continue to deal with.
However, at this point I certainly hope the worst has passed and I will be
back on my feet again quickly. In the meantime, I encourage you all to continue
sending in Clough queries as I will get to them when I am able. My work for
the John Clough Genealogical Society continues to be of utmost importance and
work on the new book will resume as soon as I am able. In fact, I look
forward to getting back into my work for the Society.
Just as a reminder to all list members who are not members of the John Clough

SOMEONE IS THINKING OF YOU..
THEY WANT YOU TO ACCEPT,
MAY OUR FRIENDSHIP NEVER COME APART ESPECIALLY WHEN IT'S STRAIGHT FROM THE HEART!
MAY YOU ALWAYS HAVE A RAINBOW OF SMILES ON YOUR FACE AND IN YOUR HEART FOREVER AND EVER!
FRIENDS FOREVER!
A big hello to you guys,
Forward this to at least 11 people and see what happens on your screen you will laugh your head off!!!!!!!!!!!
If you forward it to 11 people a video comes on your screen. This works. I don't know how...but it works. Somehow, from the return path generated, you'll receive something, and IT IS FUNNY!!!
This is the coolest thing I have ever gotten. All you have to do is send it to 11 people and watch your screen, it is the funniest clip. I can't tell you what is but I was laughing so hard I almost fell off my chair!!! So, send it to those 11 people and watch.
ENJOY!!! Pass it around.
Sorry George I will make sure I make the change. I plan on being at the
reunion. jackie

Hi All
The bulletins finally went out today! But I did a boo boo. I forgot to change the due date for the June issue to June 1st, 2004. Instead it still reads March 1st 2004! haha Sorry about that. Cousin Jackie
Our daughter, Felecia Clough was married on November 22, 2003. Below is the link to the announcement which includes a picture. For those who cannot access the site the write-up is below. The picture shows when you access using miscroft internet explorer.

Felicia L. Clough of Lyndonville and Michael P. Abair of East Longmeadow, Mass. were united in marriage Nov. 22, 2003, at Barre Congregational Church. The Rev. Steven Winkler officiated the 2 p.m., double-ring ceremony. Organist was Lorna Fogg, aunt of the bride. Given in marriage by her father, the bride wore a white A-line gown with chiffon overlay and chapel-length veil. The gown also featured a sweetheart neckline, beaded bodice and court train line. She carried a bouquet of silk flowers, arranged by Joan LaPlant, friend of the bride. Petrina Clough, sister of the bride, and Helen Couture, friend of the couple, served as the maids of honor. Bridesmaids were Cassandra Clough, sister of the bride, Margaret Ann Abair, sister of the groom, and Michaela Lynch, friend of the couple. Flower girls were Brianna Gingue and Riley Knowles. Attendants wore navy blue chiffon dresses with embroidered empire waistlines, scoop necklines, long capelet sleeves and A-line skirts. !
Best men were Gregory MaKara and Michael Ekster, friend of the grrom. Ushers were Brian Clough,
brother of the bride, and Brian LaPierre and David Manning, friends of the groom. Curtis Gingue was the ring bearer. A reception was held at the Capitol Plaza in Montpelire. The four-tiered, vanilla sponge cake,
decorated with yellow lilies and daisies, featured summer lemon mousseline filling and Tahitian vanilla frosting. The bride is the daughter of David R. and Eva Clough of Essex, Vt. She is a 1996 graduate of Essex High School and a 2000 graduate of Lyndon State College. She is employed with the Caledonia Central Supervisory Union, Barnet and Walden preschools. The groom is the son of Philip and Angela Abair of East Longmeadow. He is a 1995 graduate of East Longmeadow High School, and a 1999 graduate of Lyndon State College. He is employed with Meteorlogix.
