My deepest sympathy goes out to you and yours. I met Lamar a few times at
the reunions and he was a sweet man. I am sorry for your loss. Cousin Jackie

Folks, it is with a heavy heart that I must inform you that my Uncle Lamar Clough has passed away. Many of the New England cousins knew Lamar.
He lived a good and full life - reaching a ripe age of 92 years plus 5 days. He suffered with colon cancer for a short period at the end of his life. He personally did not accept the doctor's diagnosis of cancer, refused treatment and remained fairly active until he broke a hip around Christmas of 2003, which slowed his movement for the last three months.
Floyd Lamar Clough died March 15, 2004 in Douglas, Coffee County, Georgia. His funeral services were held March 18, 2004 at First Baptist Church in Douglas, Georgia with his burial following at the Douglas City Cemetery. It was a memorable service and I feel sure that Uncle Lamar set forth the plans for his funeral. I was privileged to be chosen to serve as a pallbearer along with all of my male Clough first cousins - Allen, Axel (Skip), Carl, Ronald and Wayne.

Sorry it has taken me so long to get back to you wonderful people but I
haven't felt much like being on here lately. I want to thank everyone
for all their prayers and good wishes as it has helped me a lot over the
last few days.
