Yes, finally! these items will be released for auction on Ebay Sunday evening June 10th, 2012. Sales will end on Sunday evening June 17th. To be included in the 25 lots offered are early family record pages removed from a Bible from the early 1800's, manuscript letters, documents, photographs, silhouettes, printed materials and even a man's large wax seal coat of arms ring from the first half of the 1800's.
In addition to the Cloud family, these lots contain things and information on the collateral Ferree, Matson, Seip & Potts Families.
A number of years back I purchased these items from a local estate here in Maryland. The items appear to have descended from Jesse Cloud (1780-1833) & wife Mary (Ferree) Cloud (1759-1839), through Jesse's daughter Elizabeth "Lizzie" Cloud Seip and so on.
If you have an interest in these items and are not registered with EBay auctions, now is the time to do it.
Should you need any assistance in signing up for EBay auctions or have any questions you can contact us at annearundelhouse(a)yahoo.com and we will be most pleased to assist you.
For those who had contacted us in the past we still have your email addresses on hand and will send you a reminder of the up coming sale as it nears. For those of you who were unaware of the coming of these items to sale, please forward an email address and we will gladly send you a reminder too!
Sincerely,
Dave Mark

Hello...I have a long time friend who is searching her heritage and is of the Cloud Clan. Fedora Cloud Faulkner is her gr.gr. grandmother and Squire Cloud her gr.gr.gr. grandfather. Fedora was first married to Robert McDonald... and later to William Gulledge Faulkner after R. McDonald was killed. She has several pieces of information that I am sure combined with your information would be very valuable and answer questions for everyone. Relatives (sisters & brothers) to Louise Sims Moore live about an hour from us in Birmingham Alabama (near there rather). They are Aunts to her father and her gr. Aunts..all of which have the information to tie the family together from the beginning. If interested please contact at the dojo200436(a)hotmail.com or southernfoundations@msn.com...Her name is Donna Lynn...thank you

Need help finding the family of Douglas M. Cloud born 1901 Iowa. He had a child in Missouri, lived in Texas and died 1981 Marin cty, California. His parents unknown but I was able to find out a little about his mother's sister's family.
According to 1910 and 1930 censuses, his father was born in Indiana or Iowa and his mother in Canada.

I was unable to find him in 1920 or 1940 censuses, perhaps a search of CA voter registrations might prove helpful but I don't have access to that resource. The 1910 census provided the clue that led me to his aunt, his mother's sister.
Here is what I have discovered about the families:

The Texas death certificate for Douglas' first cousin, Richard Stewart Donahue was signed by Mrs. Ella Martin (his mother) of Kansas City, MO, so part of the family remained in Jackson cty, MO.
