Hi Sarah,
I am just starting the search for my line of Wellborns. I do not have very much information on my father's line. His name was Edwin A. Wellborn. His father Lee Otis Wellborn and mother Myrtle Tapp Wellborn. My father was born in Abliene, Texas in 1910. Lee Wellborn had a brother Bascum Wellborn. My father had a brother, Burl Wellborn from Dallas, and a sister Evelyn also from Dallas. All may have been from the Dallas/Fort Worth area or maybe not! My grandmother Myrtle Tapp was an Indian. Don't know which tribe yet.
I would appreciate any Wellborn history you may have found from this line. I am so curious about my heritage.
I hope you are still doing the search.
Thanks,
Jane
Cheryl, thank you for your note -- hopefully it will trigger a useful
response. I don't know any of these names -- and no one I know has
any idea who "my" Jeremiah Cloud's parents were == wish we did.
I'm cc'ing this to the Cloud email group and to some of my cousins.

Would you happen to have anymore information on this Jeremiah or Sarah Cloud? And lastly I ask everyone I come in contact with since alot of times we're researching around in the same areas if in your research you have seen or come across any mention of the surnames Cross or Dover in the Pendleton Dist of SC before 1800 until they relocated to Habersham Co Ga found on 1820 census!

I am seeking information on my grandmother Ada Cloud, born in Arkansas 1886 died in Texas 1932.I think she was Cherokee and have no information on her parents or siblings.
She married Nathan Woods around 1909 and had 10 children.
Any information would be appreciated.
Thanks Ellen for finding their marriage... I had assumed they had married in
MO where Ella was from. For some reason she was in Dougherty at the time.
That does solve a mystery because no one seemed to know what had made Jacob,
Sr. go to Mo as they thought he had only been a miner.
Jacob, Jr's daughter said they are certain Sr. had been at least 1/2 Indian.
Thanks also for the 2 urls. I will keep digging and "begging" for
information from time to time.... and will definitely shout out if I find
Jacob Sr's parents.
Joyce
No she was not Indian. Her family moved from Texas from Ms.
She looked Indian but was not. Sorry.

I found yourJacob Louis Cloud in the Oklahoma State Mining Board Registry

He is listed under fire bosses on page 56. this is the information as in
the book:
Cloud Jacob Louis Bokoshe 27 Ok 6-1927 T 10
This gives his place of birth and the date he took his examination month
and year and how long he worked in mines and he held a temporary cerft. hope
this gives you a little more help.

This is kind of interesting. At <http://www.rootsweb.com/~okgarvin/kinard/chickcmarr.htm>
I found the marriage of J L Cloud, 34, to Ella Shults, 22, married 26 Aug 1899 in Dougherty.
For quite a while this has fascinated me because my line of Clouds had a couple of marriages to the Shults/Shultz family.
Have you found this site?
<http://www.rootsweb.com/~okgarvin/kinard/1860index.htm>
It has some great information for OK.
If you find anything more on your Jacob and Ella I would like for you to let me know. Thanks. Ellen

Thanks for the replies on our Jacob Cloud. He is very, very elusive.... 8-)
The Jacob Louis Cloud you found in the mining is Jr. He was actually born in
Dougherty, OK in 1920 but raised in Bokoshe.
Jacob, Sr. m. Ella Shults in MO yet there is no record of his being there
except for the marriage. We know he was in Dougherty in 1900 and there is no
record of his being there...but do know another son, Edward was b. in LA apx
1904. We can't find him 1910 census in OK. Jacob Louis Cloud, Sr was a
miner and seems like all the sons were also miners. Lonnie and Charles moved
to Bisbee, AZ and were miners there.
Every so often I will post again to the list to see if any new members will
know him and maybe we can find an obit on him in LeFlore County.
thanks for the replies.

I think this Jacob is too young to be the one in the Hopkins County
censuses. If he was 54 in 1920, he would have been born in 1866 - too late
for the 1850 and 1860 census reports that show Joseph Cloud with a son
Jacob.

This issue C is the conclusion of a series made up of
three separate issues dealing with the family of Peter Cloud
(b: bef 1755) in Northeast Georgia, Edgefield County, SC and
Early County, GA. I apologize for having three issues but

PETER CLOUD (b: bef 1755) MOVES TO EDSC
We know that Peter moves to SC based on the 1799 deed and
page 146 of the 1800 Census for EDSC which shows PETER
CLOUD: 2M< 10, 1M10-16, 1M45up, 2F<10, 1F10-16, 1F26-45. I
used this Census to approximate the age of Peter Cloud.
1800 45 = bef 1755
Similarly, Elizabeths age was estimated as 1800 44 = 1756
for the lower end of her birth year range. I can only guess
at the enumerated males, but they do not lead to the
individuals that I have researched. Nor have I tried to
identify the enumerated females.
But, I do think it germane to address the whereabouts of
John Cloud (b: 1782) in 1800. He is too old to fit in
Peters 1800 Census enumeration. And after much searching,
I finally found him with a household other than Peters. On
Page 133, JOHN CLOUD is enumerated under Names of
Sojourners with the household of Isaac Kirkland wherein 1M
16-26 appears. John Cloud (b: c 1782) would be 18 years old
in 1800. Isaac Kirkland appears frequently in the deeds of
EDSC as a JQ (Justice of the Quorum). I have seen no
documentation as to the reason that John Cloud (b: c 1782)
would be a sojourner at Kirklands household. But, at least
we know where he was in 1800.
Also appearing in the 1800 Census for EDSC is John Cloud (b:
betw 1756-1774) on the same page 146 and next door to Peter
Cloud (b: bef 1755). I have not attempted to determine
where this John Cloud fits. I do know that John Cloud (b: c
1782), son of Peter Cloud (b: bef 1755), would be too young;
and of course, the John Cloud (b: c 1789), son of Noah,
would be too young; and the John Cloud (b: c 1740) would be
too old. So, it looks like another John Cloud in the area,
making a total of four JOHN CLOUDS.
PETER CLOUD RETURNS TO GEORGIA
Between the 1800 Census in EDSC and the date of 10 Nov
1804, documents show that Peter Cloud (b: bef 1755) is back
in Georgia. On 17 Mar 1802, Peter Cloud (b: bef 1755)
witnesses the purchase and sale of land in Elbert Co, GA by
his brother, Noah Cloud (b: c 1752). Then, on 29 Oct 1802,
Peter Cloud (b: bef 1755) filed his claim in Oglethorpe Co,
GA for his loss of a horse to the Creek Indians in 1790 (See
Above Georgia State Archives Reference). This return to
Georgia validates the statement by Peters son, Reuben Cloud
(b: c 1803), in the 1850 Census in DCG that he was born in
Georgia.
PETER CLOUD MOVES BACK TO SOUTH CAROLINA
On 10 Nov 1804, Peter Cloud bought 100 Acres of land from
Livingston Mims on Horse Creek adjacent William Nobles,
Richard Johnston and Livingston Mims in EDSC. See Deeds
Book 25 p. 11. One year and 10 months later (13Sep 1806),
Peter Cloud (b: bef 1755) sold this same 100 Acres of land
to Thomas Swearingen. This deed was signed by Peter Cloud
(as Grantor) with his distinctive mark (P). His wife
ELIZABETH CLOUD signed the waiver of dower rights. See
Deeds Book 32 p 26. I believe this is the first document in
my files that establishes this Peter Clouds wife as
Elizabeth.
LETS DIGRESS FROM PETER CLOUD (b: bef 1755) AND TALK ABOUT
HIS SON, JOHN CLOUD (b: c 1782)
On 13 Nov 1805, one year after Peter made the above land
purchase, John Cloud (b: c 1782) buys 60 Acres of land from
Phillip Shipes. The land was located on Shaws Creek in
EDSC and was part of 256 Acres originally granted To Phillip
Shipes on 10 Jun 1786. See Deeds Book 27 p. 319. AND THEN,
on 5 Sep 1806 (less than 1 year later) he sells the same
land to John Phillips. John Cloud (b: c 1782) signs the
deed (as Grantor) with his very distinctive mark (u). AND
GUESS WHO SIGNS THE WAIVER OF DOWER RIGHTS none other
than his wife, Mary Cloud. See Deeds Book 27 p. 321. The
above dates led me to their estimated marriage date of circa
1805.
As I mentioned above, there is a will of Phillip Shipes
dated 12 February 1817 in EDSC, which names his beloved
daughter, Mary Cloud. Then, John Cloud (b: 1782) and his
wife Mary Cloud named their first son PHILLIP CLOUD,
obviously after her father. The name Phillip is not the
most common name that we encounter, and I know of no other
Cloud in this part of the country named Phillip prior to
this one. And, it is very important to note that Phillip
Cloud (b: c 1809) said in the 1850 Census of DCG that he was
born in SC.
Go to Deeds Book 31 p. 301 where John sold 250 Acres to John
Mathews (except for 80 Acres sold to Peter Cloud) in EDSC on
21 Sep 1810. As before, he signs the deed (as Grantor) with
his very distinctive mark (u) and his wife, Mary signed the
dower rights release. This is my last record of John Cloud
(b: c 1782) in EDSC, and I believe that he goes to Georgia,
leaving his parents, Peter and Elizabeth, behind in SC. [As
a side note, I have never located a record which shows that
John Cloud (b: c 1782) purchased this 250 Acre tract of
land.]
I have never been able to locate a census record for John
Cloud (b: 1782) for the year 1810. I expected to find him
in EDSC since his first son, Phillip Cloud was b: c 1809 in
SC. It is most likely that he departed with his family to
Twiggs Co., GA after the birth of his son, Phillip, and
prior to the 1810 EDSC Census.
JOHN CLOUD (b: c 1782) BACK IN GEORGIA
According to my notes, the Georgia Journal,
Milledgeville, GA had an article on 6 Jan 1818 (Pg. 1, col
2) that reported a reward of $20 for JOHN CLOUD 5 feet 11
inches high, dark complexion, black eyes, 35 years of age,
late of Twiggs County. The posting was from Camp near
fort Hawkins 15 Dec 1817. I have never learned the
disposition of the reward offer, but if you subtract Johns
reported age of 35 from the year 1817, you get 1782 which
agrees with the year I have estimated Johns birth to be.
Lets go back to the National Archives in Washington, D.C.,
where we talked earlier in ISSUE A of Bounty Land File
WT 85796-160-55 that contains affidavits from Sarah Cloud,
widow of John Cloud (b: c 1782). In her sworn affidavit,
Sarah Cloud states that she is the identical widow of John
Cloud who was a member of Capt. Hodges Company Geo Mila from
Twigs County in Jacksons war she believes 1818 for three
months.
Then, in Twiggs Co., GA, their tax lists for the year 1818
shows James, Jno, and William Cloud. I interpret the Jno
to be John Cloud (b: c 1782)
JOHN CLOUD (b: c 1782) GOES TO EARLY CO., GA
My files have nothing about John Cloud (b: c 1782) between
the above 1818 tax report in Twiggs Co., GA and the 1820
Census in Early Co., GA. But, in my mind, there should be
little doubt that John Cloud (b: c 1782) moved from Twiggs
Co., GA to Early Co., GA bef 1820. THIS BRINGS US UP TO
ISSUE A and I rest my case on John Cloud (b: c 1782)
BACK TO PETER CLOUD (b: bef 1755)
We digressed to talk about John Cloud after his father,
Peter Cloud (b: bef 1755), sold 100 Acres on Horse Creek to
Thomas Swearingen on 13 Sep 1806. My next record for Peter
Cloud (b: bef 1755) is two months later where he sells 234
Acres on Horse Creek, adjacent to Delanter & McClendon, on
the road from Piney Woods House to Charleston. This was on
04 Nov 1806 and is in Deeds Book 29 p. 421. The Grantee was
William Reavencraft. Peter Cloud (b: bef 1755) signs the
deed as Grantor with his mark (P), and again, his wife
Elizabeth Cloud signs the release of dower rights. [As a
side note, this 234 Acre tract of land was surveyed for
Peter Cloud (b: bef 1755) on 25 June 1803 and the plat was
recorded in Plat Book 40, page 77.
Then, on 30 Jan 1809, Peter Cloud (b: bef 1755) buys 120
Acres on Horse Creek, Adjacent to Daniel Mazeyki and Thomas
Swearingen, from Thomas Swearingen. See EDSC deeds book 31
p. 394.
Another EDSC deed dated 02 Feb 1809 in Deeds Book 30 p. 287
refers to land bound by Phillip Shipes and Peter Cloud on
Shaws Creek. Remember that Phillip Shipes is the
father-in-law of John Cloud (b: c 1782), son of Peter Cloud
(b: bef 1755).
THIS IS MY LAST RECORD OF PETER (b: bef 1755)
The 1810 Census for EDSC is the last record in my files for
Peter Cloud (b: bef 1755). The Grantor/Grantee Deed Index
for EDSC shows signing dates of 1811 and 1814 for some of
the land transactions cited above. But, I have copies of
the original deeds and they show signing dates as noted in
my text for the sales of land. I have not tried to sequence
the recording dates into any of the above.

TWO PETER CLOUDS IN THE 1810 CENSUS FOR EDGEFIELD CO.,
SC????
Most of the time, our problem is that our ancestor is
missed in a census or does not appear in the census
enumeration. However, it does happen that the same
household is enumerated twice in the same census. I
maintain that the household of Peter Cloud shown on page 84
is a duplication of the Peter Cloud shown on page 35 of the
Census. First of all, look at the headcounts. They are not
exactly identical, but they are close enough: the same
number of males and 3F<10 versus 2F<10. And, we are talking
about a Peter Cloud. No logical place from which the second
Peter Cloud could come.
If you look at the geography, it becomes more apparent what
happened. Peter Cloud (b: bef 1755) has always been
situated on SHAWS CREEK along side Phillip Shipes and Noah
Cloud. These people are enumerated on page 35. BUT, on 30
Jan 1809, Peter Cloud (b: bef 1755) buys 120 Acres on HORSE
CREEK. This is the same location where he and Elizabeth had
bought and sold property before adjacent to William Nobles,
Richard Johnston and Livingston Mims in EDSC If you look on
page 84 of the Census, you will find Richard Johnson and
William Nobles. I maintain that there are 2,000 families
between page 35 and page 84. And, if the Census Enumerator
started with Peter Cloud (b: bef 1755) on page 35 at Shaws
Creek, and it will be hard for him to remember having
enumerated the same family by the time he reaches page 84 on
Horse Creek.
Following are the names of the individuals that I think were
enumerated in the household of Peter Cloud (b: bef 1755)
shown on p. 35 of this 1810 Census.
1M45up Peter Cloud, b: bef 1755 (over 55 years old here)
1F45up Elizabeth Cloud, b: Betw. 1756-1765. (Age betw
45-54)
1M<10 Reuben Cloud, b: 1803 in GA (7 years old here)
1M<10 Unidentified, b: betw. 1800-1810 (James in Jackson
Co., FL ?)
2F<10 Unidentified
1F10-16 Unidentified
1F16-26 Unidentified
All land sales by Peter Cloud (b: bef 1755) in EDSC were
signed with his distinctive mark (P) and they were also
signed by Elizabeth Cloud for the release of dower rights.
Then Peters son, Reuben Cloud (b: 1803), named his first
son Peter Cloud, most likely after his father, Peter Cloud
(b: bef 1755). So, what happened between the 1810 EDSC
census and the 1820 Early Co., GA census showing Elizabeth
Cloud as head of the household ???
CONSIDER THIS
Twiggs Co., GA was the layover point between EDSC and Early
Co, GA. Twiggs Co. GA was formed on December 14, 1809 from
part of Wilkinson Co., GA which was created May 11, 1803
from Cherokee Indian lands ceded in 1802 and 1805. Marion
was Twiggs County's first county seat, but it later became a
ghost town, and by 1868 the courthouse was moved to
Jeffersonville. A fire in 1901 destroyed the courthouse and
virtually all its records. And, of course, this is the
county where we are trying to account for the movements of
our ancestors, John Cloud (b: c 1782) and Elizabeth Cloud
(b: betw 1756-1765) from EDSC to Early County, GA.
I have never seen any record that shows a date of death for
Peter Cloud (b: bef 1755). But, Peter Cloud (b: bef 1755)
and his son, John Cloud (b: c 1782) maintained close contact
all the way back to the birth of John Cloud. In the absence
of facts to the contrary, I believe that John Cloud would
see to the welfare of his mother in the event that his
father was no longer able to provide. With this thought, I
maintain that Peter Cloud (b: bef 1755) died after 1810 and
before 1820. I further maintain that his widow, Elizabeth
Cloud (b: betw 1756-1765), along with her sons, Reuben Cloud
(b: c 1803) and Mansico Cloud (b: c 1812) moved with her
eldest son, John Cloud (b: c 1782) to Early County, GA
before 1820.
AND IN CONCLUSION
I welcome comments or questions and ask that you post them
on this CLOUD-L forum. Above all, please remember that all
of my conclusions are based on my interpretation of the
facts as I found them. In other words, you need to check
out the records yourself. And, it is my fondest hope that
someone out there in CLOUD LAND has a record, or records,
that will confirm, or deny, the conclusions expressed
herein. . I would like to repeat A WORD OF CAUTION FROM MY
PREVIOUS ISSUE A and that is that most of the information
in The Post Searchlight articles of 19 May and 28 Jul 1976
relating to Clouds in Georgia IS IN DIRECT CONFLICT with the
conclusions expressed herein.
Ralph Byron Rex Sanders
ISSUE A, which was posted 11 August 2001, set forth the
family of PETER CLOUD (b: bef 1755) in 1820 Early Co, GA.
This ISSUE B deals with the start of the family of Peter
Cloud (b: bef 1755), in Northeast Georgia. A SEPARATE ISSUE
C picks up the family in Edgefield Co., SC.
I have seen a number of published genealogies (without
evidence or documentation) that show Peter Cloud (b: bef
1755) as a son of Jeremiah Cloud, Sr. (b: c 1721). And
while I have not researched the validity of this
relationship, I show it here to establish a reference point
or benchmark for the information I have researched.

An excellent article appears in Cloud Family Journal Vol.
XVI, No. 3 p-76.
It was taken from Memoirs of Henry County published in the
Henry County Weekly, May 6, 1881. It discussed Mr.
Ezekiel Cloud and his Revolutionary Soldier service. Of
note was one quotation: It was a somewhat remarkable event
that himself, father and eight brothers went through the
entire war and escaped unscathed from wounds, by either
bullet or blade. I interpret this to mean 9 sons of
Ezekiels father, or five more than shown above.
THIS LEADS TO MY FAMILY GROUP RECORD FOR PETER CLOUD (b: bef
1755).
Please bear in mind that my research has been focused on my
direct ancestors and a number of their siblings have not
been identified. And, to be more than just a casual reader
of this information, one needs to accept the facts that I
presented in ISSUE A. That John Cloud (b: c 1782), Reuben
Cloud (b: c 1803) and Mansico Cloud (b: c 1812) are brothers
with the same father.

HOW MANY WIVES FOR PETER CLOUD (B: bef 1755)?
I have been researching the Cloud line for over 16 years
and nothing has caused me more consternation than the age
spread between Peters oldest son, John Cloud (b: c 1782),
and his youngest son, Mansico (b: 1812). This is a 30 year
span, not unheard of, but certainly rare in most families.
This means Elizabeth was between 47 years old or 56 years
old when Mansico was born, depending on the upper and lower
limits of her birth year range. We may discover the name of
a first wife for Peter Cloud (b: bef 1755) one day, but the
evidence I have presented in ISSUE A clearly proves that
John Cloud (b: c 1782), Reuben Cloud (b: c 1803), and
Mansico Cloud (b: 1812) are brothers with one father.
SEPARATING THE MANY CLOUDS HAVING THE SAME NAME
It is important to separate the many, many duplications of
Cloud names that appear in the general area of Northeast GA
and EDSC from 1778 to 1820.
There are TWO Peter Clouds shown in the 1810 Census for
EDSC; there are FOUR different John Clouds that appear. For
example, John Cloud sold 385 Acres to John Pope on 27
October 1789 in Wilkes Co, GA. This was signed by himself
and his wife, Elizabeth, signed for release of dower
rights. Then, you go to the 1810 census for EDSC and you
see a John Cloud on page 35, the same page as for his
father, Noah Cloud. This John Cloud was born 13 Feb 1789 in
Elbert Co, GA and married Margaret Ann Swearingen. There is
a John Cloud (b: betw 1756-1774) that shows up on the 1800
EDSC Census page 146. And finally, John Cloud (b: c 1782),
the son of Peter Cloud (b: bef 1755), and whose first wife
was Mary Shipes, daughter of Phillip Shipes.
THE KEY TO THE PUZZLE
One piece of information that helps keep the individuals
straight is to know their signatures or marks used in deeds,
wills, affidavits, and other legal documents. For example,
Peter Cloud (b: bef 1755) used a block style capital P;
John Cloud (b: c 1740) used an upper case I; John Cloud
(b: c 1782), son of Peter Cloud, used a mark most resembling
a lower case u; Noah Cloud (b: c 1752) used a cursive
style capital N; and John Cloud (b: 1789), the son of Noah
Cloud, could sign his own name, as could another of Noahs
sons, Reuben Cloud (b: c .1775)
I have not attempted to identify the signatures of the FOUR
Jeremiah Clouds that appear in the same area and time
frame. Jeremiah Sr. (b: c 1721); his son, Jeremiah Jr. (b:
c 1754); the Jeremiah Cloud (b: c 1784) who went to AL/TX;
and the Jeremiah (b: c 1780 and d: c 1817) who was the son
of Noah Cloud. I count over 25 references to a Jeremiah
Cloud in my files (deeds, tax, etc) and I know that I dont
have them all.
WHAT WE KNOW ABOUT PETER CLOUD (b: bef 1755)
My first documentation on Peter Cloud (b: bef 1755) starts
with a Claim that he filed in Oglethorpe Co., GA on 29 Oct
1802 for $50 for the loss of a horse to the Creek Indians.
At the time of the loss, which occurred in the year 1790, he
was forted at Nelsons Fort on the South Fork of Broad River
(in Wilkes Co., GA). He signed this claim with his mark
(P), and Noah Cloud, who signed with his mark (N), certifies
the sworn statement to be true. This record places both
Peter and his brother, Noah, in Wilkes Co, GA in 1790 and in
Oglethorpe Co., GA in 1802.
[See Georgia State Archives Record Group 4-2-46 Box 29
Location 1759-15].
My next record is from the Augusta Chronicle dated 24 Dec
1796 wherein Peter Cloud (b: bef 1755) is on a list of Tax
Defaulters in Elbert Co., GA.
AND THEN, ESDC deed book 17 p. 419 shows that Peter Cloud
bought 100 acres of land in EDSC from Thomas Swearingen on
12 Sep 1799. The land was situated on Paces Branch of
Shaws Creek adj. PHILLIP SHIPES and ISAAC KIRKLAND. The
significance of this deed becomes apparent when we learn
that Phillip Shipes had a daughter named Mary Shipes.
Phillip Shipes will dated 12 Feb 1817 names his beloved
daughter, MARY CLOUD. This was recorded in EDSC Will Book
C, page 205. And later, I will prove that Mary was the
wife of John Cloud (b: c 1782). [As a side note, I have
never located a record where this tract of land was sold by
Peter Cloud (b: bef 1755)]
The above three records establish, at least for me, the fact
that Peter Cloud (b: bef 1755) lived in Northeast Georgia
during or before 1790 and until the latter part of 1799.
This would account for the birth of his first son, John
Cloud (b: c 1782), being in Georgia. It would also account
for the birth of the Unidentified Son (b: betw 1785-1790)
being in the state of Georgia.
PETER CLOUD IN DAVIDSON CO., TN
I think we can all agree that the name PETER in the Cloud
Family in the last half of 1700 was a rarity. When the name
shows up during our research, we need to find out as much as
we can about that individual. So it is with Peter Cloud in
Tennessee. The Davidson Co., TN Deed Book B page 84 shows
Peter Cloud as Grantee for 274 Acres of land on Kaspers
Creek that were surveyed for him on 30 Sep 1784. And then,
Deed Book B p. 186 shows that Peter Cloud, of the County
of Davidson, sold this tract of land to William McWhirter on
12 April 1791. And then this Peter Cloud disappears from my
Radar Screen.
I have concluded that Peter Cloud (b: bef 1755) was in
Northeast Georgia during or before 1790 and that it is
unlikely that these two Peter Clouds are the same
individual. I am not an expert in handwriting, but I do not
believe the signature marks on the Tennessee deed and the
South Carolina deeds were made by the same individual.
There is a Peter Cloud shown as head of household in the
1820 Census for Jones County, GA but I have never seen any
records that would explain his origin or his whereabouts
after the 1820 Census.
This concludes ISSUE B and ISSUE C will continue with
Peter Clouds family as it moves into Edgefield County, SC.
I apologize for the need to make two issues for this
documentation, but the posting size is limited. If any
researcher is interested in receiving these issues combined
into one document, please email a request to me and I will
be delighted to forward it to your email address.

I have written a history of my life in Harlan Ky in 1950's plus memories of my mother and father. My grandfather was Tilman Thomas Cloud , son of Benjamin F. Cloud and Martha Shoemaker. A story was written by my grandfather's niece. It is her version of the life of William & Elizabeth Shoemaker, which I have typed into my story. Ben F. Cloud's brother William was Married to Martha's sister Jane.
