Hi all,
I have to apologize for the "senior moment" I experienced a couple of
days ago. I do not have my Cloud FL death index information ready yet.
Instead, I put the FL and GA information for my Eldridges on my home
page. Even called one of them "Cloud." Oh, well.
I promise to get the information out there soon. I know what a trial
it is to find some of this stuff. I'm trying to make it easier instead
of harder.. really, I am.
Arrggghhhh!!

I need suggestion on how to do research on the Corbett Line in Hunterdon NJ
in 1725 to 1760 and in New Castle, Del in 1693 to 1725. I am in the Los
Angeles CA area. I have seen these two areas in many postings to the
CLOUD-lL List while doing research on my aunt Neva Clouds family.
Any help will be appreciated.

Gayle,
I was about to add link from CFA page when I checked and didn't find any
Clouds on that page. I followed the "Cloud" hot-link to:
http://www.freenet.tlh.fl.us/~gkennedy/clo-dea1.htm
but didn't see Cloud listings. Is there another page?

Hi Cloud researchers,
I gathered all the Clouds from the Florida State Death Index for the
years 1887-1922 recently. The indexes are at the Fl State Archive, and
since I work, I can only get there on Saturdays. I will add more as I
get the research done.

I need help on a question. I am preparing a memorial to my dear wife who
passed away on June 28, 1999.
I want to be sure and include her name correctly. Her name was Daisy
Jewell (Judy) CLOUD FARRELL. How should it be listed? My son says the
Cloud should be in parentheses and only the "C" in caps.
Would some of you historians be kind enough to help me out and give me
the correct procedure as you know it?
Peggie,
Mine are out of Macon and Lee Counties in Alabama. My father is Hamilton
Warren Cloud (b 1919). He was son of Archibald Hamilton Cloud (b 1883) and
Ida Louise Warren (b 1887). Do you have any dates on your families?
Laura
p.s.
I am passing this letter on to the Cloud Family mail list. Really nice
group of folks. You might consider joining us.

What Cloud and Warren families are you researching? These are the names
in my line. My grandmother was Mattie Erline Cloud. Her father was James
William Cloud. Her mother was Alice Rebecca Warren who was the daughter of
George A. Warren.
They all lived in the Coryell County, Texas area. George A. Warren was
born in Abingdon, Va. Alice Rebecca was born in Tennessee. James William
was born in Williamson County, Texas. His father came to Texas through
Louisiana with his family.
Also, just found it interesting that you live in Pasco. We lived in
Kennewick, Wa. 18 years ago. My son was born in Richland. We still have
friends in the area.
Thanks,

I am looking for information on Daniel Boone Cloud. He was born 3/25/1911 in
Wilheit, Harlan County, Kentucky. I am also looking for information on his
parents. they are Longstreet Cloud and Sinda Sparks. If you have

I am researching the family line of Simon N. Turner and Elizabeth Ann
Cloud.
A daughter, Charity (Cherry) Ann Turner b. c. 1842 in Clouds' Cove, New
Hope, Madison Co., Alabama, according to records was married to a Joseph
Vann. However, someone in my family has a Cherry Ann Turner (daughter of
a Simon N. Turner) being married to Ausborn (Osburn) "Auzzie" Smoot, son
of Wyatt Pendleton Smoot and Susan ________.
Could there possibly be a connection?
My other question is, could Auzzie Smoot been a first or second husband?
A son of this union is also a Wyatt Smoot who married a Ella Lee Hall
(daughter of Edward D. Hall and Sarah Lee Hornbuckle).
I have ran into road blocks on this marriage and if anyone can help, I
surely would appreciate hearing from you.
My main concern is whether or not there is a Cloud/Turner connection
that can be connected to my family tree because the Cloud line goes back
a ways.
Cordially,
Margie K. Ezell
