Hi,
This is Greg. My email address is GregoryNS(a)aol.com
Wow, this is an old post. My wife also descends through Samuel. Not sure off hand why I posted looking for Jacob's parents. Haven't looked at Clothier info in a while. I did run across someone a while back that made a very compelling case that there was no Hannah Rihl and that the info that name came from was mistaken. He argued Samuel's wife was Ann Baker. It seemed to make sense. I'll try to find it. Why don't you send me an email and I'll respond directly.
Thanks,
Greg

I believe Jacob R. Clothier is buried in Palmer Cemetary in Philadelphia, d,1869. Greg Smith sent me Clothier info many years ago and I would like his email address. My husbands family descends from Jacob's brother, Samuel, b.1813. I can't trace any further back than Jacob and Samuels parents, Samuel c. Clothier and Hannah Rihl. Any info appreciated.

Dear Lister,
This is a complete longshot - but I am hoping someone out there might be
able to help?
I have come across an old Army regimental photo in some family 'junk' but
cannot see any obvious link to my family. To try to unearth a link but also
out of interest I am trying to trace some of the soldiers named on the
photo.
The photo was taken of the '18 Medium Regiment of the Royal Artillery' in
1953. Possibly at the barrack HQ in Larkhill, Wiltshire, UK.
In it there is a C. CLOTHIER (WOII) - does anyone know anything about him?
Many thanks
Mark
