Beginning March 2nd, 2020 the Mailing Lists functionality on RootsWeb will be discontinued. Users will no longer be able to send outgoing emails or accept incoming emails. Additionally, administration tools will no longer be available to list administrators and mailing lists will be put into an archival state.
Administrators may save the emails in their list prior to March 2nd. After that, mailing list archives will remain available and searchable on RootsWeb
Perhaps some of the following messages might apply to the Closson mailing
list and archives.
I am posting this what I hope will be a constructive suggestion, from a
caring person trying to think of something to get the Closson list active.

Very good points.

I also sent a letter less than a month ago, asking the same question that
Kat of VA asked-----We see the questions posted to the list, why can we not
see the answers? I believe that is part of what the list is about. It
would be nice if we could see this change.
Thanks
