I wish I had information to share with you but the last time I saw my father I was 3 or 4 years old. I have always known I have older brothers and a sister but that is the extent of my knowledge. If there as any information you could share with me it would be greatly appreciated.

I'd like more information about that book. I'm a Clower and both the Clore and Clower's go back to Johann Michael Klaar.

Clore, Klaar, Chler, Clower are very likely related. I have the line back to about 1600 in Germany. The name is originally thought to have been Chler, but it seems to have really split into several names around 1700 with the children of Johanns Michael Klaar. One of his sons, John Clore b. 1704 spelled it Clore.
