Does anyone have a source for the birthdate of February 10, 1747 and
deathdate of October 7, 1785 for George Valentine (Felty) Clemmer?
Also, "Our Kin" says he had a second wife, Miss Hancock, who was the
mother of Elizabeth Clemmer who married Jacob Cloninger, Sr. and Mollie
who died single at John Clemmer's in East Tennessee. Does anyone have a
marriage date for Felty and Miss Hancock?
According to the 1850 Polk County, TN census, Elizabeth who married
Jacob Cloninger, Sr. was 56 years old when the census was taken which
would put her birthdate around 1794. That means she was born about 9
years after her father's death. Can anyone help resolve this
inconsistency?

Does anyone know of a marriage record for Jacob Cloninger, Sr. and his
second wife Jane B. Hamilton? I don't know if they married in NC or TN
or when the marriage occurred. I also would be interested to know if
they had any children together.
