I also was sent this, but no notations as to where it came from originally:
Sally Clor to Birrum Ferrill Sumner Co., TN 15 March 1808. A note says Bynum Ferrill's wife (name is given as Mary) may be a sister of Johnnie Cloar of Obion Co., TN. but no idea where we came up with that piece of information.

I am reseraching the same line. My line is through the Jones. Nargaret Cloer who married William* Jones and their son Berry Wenton Jones is my gg grandfather. Also my great father John Patton's mother was Elizabeth Jones and her sister was Lucretia Jones. What I have been trying to find out if Lucretia Jones is related to Lucretia and Jacob Cloer. The Pattons and Jones lived in Arkansas. *I am not sure if the name William is correct.

Need information on Tempy Cloer born abt 1815 in North Carolina. She was married to Lawson Goble who was born abt 1820 in NC and died in the Civil War Nov 15 1864 at Petersburg VA. I think her parents may have been Nicholas Cloer (birth unknown) who died abt 1839 in Iredell County NC and Elizabeth (unknown maiden name) born abt 1780 in VA. But I have no proof yet. Anyone who can help me, I will greatly appreciate it!
