Mary:
Thank you for responding. I am not sure if your Elisha Cloar is in the Cloer family lines I and others are researching. However, I do know that some of Jacob Cloer's family went to Missouri. My great-grandmother was Mary Caroline Cloer/Cloar (sometimes miswritten as McClure!). There is a lady in Jackson, MS who is researching the Jacob Cloer line and has accumulated lots of information. She is planning to have a reunion the weekend of July 4. When I get a chance I'll look through all the info she has sent to me; I haven't put any of it into the computer yet. A quick glance at my FTM data does not show your Elisha Cloar, but there's probably a connection. Thanks again.
