No, I do not believe we have a connection...none of this sounds familiar at all. Will keep an eye out for something that might help you. Thanks

Was married to Annie Golden from Ireland 1852 - 1915. I believe she came from Sligo, Ireland.

The only info I have about the Clinton's of Louth is the maiden name of my gt.gt grandmother is Mary Clinton. She married Owen O'Hagan around 1830. I feel a strong pull to Drummullagh near Dundalk as the home place of my Hagan's-maybe the Clinton's were in the same area.

I know that my Mary Clinton was not that old...she was a child in 1856 when John was born in Roxbury, I believe she was 4 at that time...I don't remember definitely but do have the info. at home. I'll watch for anything that might tie our families together, and will let you know if I should come across anything.

Any info on who your great grandmother was, married to Patrick Clinton? My great grandfather, John Clinton, did have a brother by the name of Patrick. Do you have any other info on Patrick, dob, dod, spouse...anything? I have quite a bit on the others, but would like to know there may be a link before I forward the info that I have. Do have the the names of Patrick's parents? It's always exciting to make a connection, but I'm just a little cautious. If you are of the same Clinton family, there are several others that I've connected with already. Let me know.
Thanks! Jean

My grandfather John Clinton was born in Roxbury, Ma. in 1850. I know my great grandfather Patrick Clinton came from Ireland but I don't know when he settled in Roxbury or if he had a sister Mary. By the way I still carry the family name as do my sons and one grandson.
