Nancy Elizabeth Pierce/Clinton/Harris is buried in Jacobs Cemetery in Grant County, Arkansas. She is my Gr-Grandmother. She was married to Nicholas Clinton 1st and then James Harris. Not sure how many children she had with Nicholas. Her Children with James are Fannie, Elmer, Bertha, Johnnie, and Hosea. Hosea is my Grandfather. The only person that could probably straighten all this out for us has passed on. That would be Charlie Clinton, son of Christopher Columbus Clinton (I think that's right). Charlie knew a lot about the family history.

I am seeking the parents of Thomas Charles Clinton b. Rathfarnham, Dublin in 1862. According to his birth certificate they were William Clinton & Mary Lawlor, but they do not appear to have been born in Dublin.
One clue is in the name William, not normally associated with Catholics, but I have been unable to locate him in any Protestant registers either.

Hi, Yes , my Lawrence was born in 1642 and we are talking about the same Lawrence. I think over the years I thought of Lawrence coming here as an adult, but I know i was wrong about that and that he was born here. I have the genealogy of Harrington and his lineage, but no record of a wife. I'm going to look at your tree now and I'll get back to you. Thanks, Lois

Thanks for your response. I am not sure the Lawrence you are talking about is the one I am looking for. You mention a will made in 1622. Was that a type-o because the Lawrence I have in my tree was born in 1642. Harrington, his "father", died in 1643 only 1 year after Lawrence was born. I and I am sure many others, would love to finally find out where we came from and unfortunately it is all determined by finding proof of a relation. I am adding you so that you can view my tree. Take a look at it and let me know where you are at with my side of the Clinton's.
