I don't know if anyone is still looking at this information but this is my father's family and I met a number of them back in 1975. My father was Charles Almeron Burrow, the son of Harvey Clyde Burrow and Mattie (Hartman) Burrow. My grandmother Mattie died in childbirth when Helen was born in 1912 so the census in 1920 shows him as a widower living with his parents and my father and his two sisters (Viola and Helen). I believe from my father's recounting of this years ago, his father Harvey was gone a lot and his grandparents took care of him. I would guess his grandfather's name should be "Almeron" also unless there was some different understanding of the spellings back then or it was a spin-off name of some kind.
My grandfather Harvey then married Mary who had two children, Agnes and Dorothy (whom I got to meet in 1975). I believe Harvey and Mary then had Betty and Robert together. I recall meeting Betty and her son, but I'm not sure about Robert.
In 1975, my Aunt Helen's last name was McKenzie. I'm not sure that it was her only married name, but I don't believe she ever lived in Florida.
I hope if you're still out there and still looking for information, that this helps. It sure can get confusing looking for this information. It helps that my family talks/talked about this so much and I had met so many of them at a reunion in Centreville, Michigan in 1975!
