Yes! Sarah Jane Clinton, 1855-1926, married Aaron Wagner. Their son was William Henry Wagner. It took a LONG time to track him down, because he died young. His daughter was Gladys Estelle Wagner, and her son, William Richard Weed - my (late) father.

Hi there! Clarence Emery Clinton was the brother of my Great Great Grandmother, Sarah Jane Clinton Wagner. In fact, I just ordered her death certificate, because I don't have her mother's maiden name. Do you?
On my tree I have Clarence and wife Anna May who married in Wrightsville but then later they settled in Reardan town in Lincoln Co, Washington. I have Census records from 1910, 1920 and 1930 showing them living there.
After going through many records here on ancestry.com and on the genweb pages (http://www.wagenweb.org/lincoln/), I came across the Vital Records of Lincoln County, Washington and found that Clarence's wife Anna May died on Dec 7, 1967. I couldn't find Clarence anywhere! I guess my first step, if I were you, would be to order her death certificate to see if she was a widow then or not. At least, you can narrow down the timeline of Clarence's death. Next, I would contact historical societies in Lincoln Co, WA and ask them to conduct a search for Clarence Clinton. I did that for my Weed family and found tons of info (including cemetery records) that wasn't available online. And the total fee came only to like $15 for their searches. Good luck to you!
Below please find the links for Clarence's wife's death date and the obituaries of their son, James Breneman Clinton and his wife Genevieve, who both died in WA.
