Cecil H. Clinton, 85,
of Humble, Texas,
and formerly of Erie,pa
passed away November 13, 2010.
He was born in Erie,co,pa,
on January 31, 1925,
the son of the late Cecil and Elizabeth Wertz Clinton. Cecil served in the United States Army during WW II
. He was a 1943 graduate of Millcreek High School and a 1950 graduate of Thiel College. He worked as a Chemist at Hammermill Paper Co., Tenneco Chemicals and Cyprus Minerals. Cecil was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Humble, Texas.
In addition to his parents,
he was preceded in death by his sister, Betty McLallen. He is survived by his wife, Marie E. Clinton;
and two sisters, Phyllis Botwright and her husband, Jack, of Millcreek,
and Dorothy Storaci and her husband, Frank, of Medway, Ohio.
He is further survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins. Friends may call at the Burton Westlake Funeral Home, 3801 W. 26th St., (at Powell Ave.,) on Wednesday from 12 p.m. until the time of the service there at 2 p.m. Interment will be in Laurel Hill Cemetery. I believe my family is from Waynesboro, GA. grandfather Frederick L Clinton was the oldest of 4. 2 sisters Addie and Lanie and 1 brother Issac. Fred married Lula Mae Mills from Marshall, MO. They settled in Pittsburgh, PA. His other siblings never married, but Lanie did have a son (name unknown) that was raised by her sister Addie. The women lived in Minnesota then Arizona where they are buried. Issac did live in Atlantic City. If anyone has info my e-mail is free4mee2beee(a)yahoo.com.

My grandfather's name Frederick Lanier Clinton dob 9-1889; brother Issac (unknown middle name) Clinton dob? I know that Issac (Ike) was his younger brother. Fred was the oldest & there were 2 sisters Addie & Lanie. I believe all were from Waynesboro, GA.
