I have William T. Clinton born about 1831 married to Sarah Jane Batson born about 1846 in NC. She was daughter of Jasper & Evaline Batson - oldest of 7 children. I have no info on the Clinton line but can possibly help you on the Batson corner. Please contact me directly at shariebat(a)cox.net

Very interested in the Clinton/Brannon-Brannum etc/ and Ginn connections in Madison Co. Alabama.
Margaret Ginn married Alfred Clinton in 1824 in Madison Co. and they had a son William H. Clinton. Margaret later married Peter Brannum and they had a son James C. Brannum.

Hi, I'm new to the list and have just begun researching a Clinton family
from C. Clare.
The one in question had a son Peter P. Joseph Clinton birth year approx.
in the 1850's. Possible parents James and Mary.
He married in Australia (NSW) in 1879 to one Elizabeth Mary CARDEN.
Known children are:-
Eliz Clare b 1895 d 1975
Fred Thomas b 1882 m Ethel White 1916 d 1949
Teresa J b 1887 m 1911
Alice A. b 1892 m 1910
Mary M. b 1885 m 1927 ?
Evelyn Cecily d 1960
I would appreciate any help/advice on how to go about researching in C.
Clare or any information on Clintons from that County.
Glenda
