Somewhere in my searches I thought I saw Abigail Clinton as possibly the mother of Charity Baxter. I think Charity was born in the early 1700's and married an Israel Mullinax. I have been unable to find her parents. If you have info re: this possible connection or anything about Charity, please contact me at tomrita1(a)msn.com. THANK YOU.

If you are a descendant of James Parker and Lemuel then we must be cousins. I am a granddaughter of Absalom Arlonzo (Arlie) Clinton, son of James Parker and Hannah. I have been researching all Clinton's known to originate from Sevier County from 1830-1920 and would like to share information. I have collected quite a lot of information and I am especially interested in getting information on James Parker's parents. Thanks. Laura Clinton Vasut

I have a Marceen H. Clinton who was born about 1866. I haven't found much on him, and now I am wondering if he could be Marcus instead of Marceen. Do you have the names of his parents from the death certificate? Do you know the names of any brothers or sisters or a wife? Thanks.

The information I have on Peter Tappan is not much. He was baptized June 28, 1748 (taken from the magazine "Old Ulster" 1905). He was a Lieutenant Surgeon during the Revolutionary war and his occupation was a doctor. He married in 1771 Elizabeth Crannell. I have no children for this couple.
