Hi All!!
I just found a NEHEMIAH CLINTON in the 1820 KY census index. He's listed in
Casey Co. , page 206, No Twp listed. Does anybody know anything about
him?? I can't believe this is the first time I've seen him.
I see that Casey Co. was formed from Lincoln Co. in 1807.
As everybody in the whole world knows, (TeeHee) I believe Zachariah and
Ezekiel Clinton were brothers. Wonder if this Nehemiah could be tied to them
too. Old time Bible names sure do fit well together.
Any comments from anyone about this fellow?? I'll see what else I can find.

In a search on eBay for "Clinton" the following showed up - hope someone can save
it:
"Up for auction are 4 historic Civil War pieces. There are 2 photographs and 2
sashes or ribbons. The sashes measure 31 inches long with 1 inch fringe. They look
as though they are designed to go over the shoulder and across the chest. One
sash has a button with ribbon which reads "VA". Both sashes show some wear and
have small holes in them. They feel as though they are made of cotton and are red,
white and blue in color. The oval photograph is of a soldier in uniform. It
measures 8 X 10.25 inches, and the back reads "THINK ME OF THE CLINTONS". The
smaller photograph measures 4.5 X 5.5 inches and is of an old soldier and his
family. The back reads "WM CLINTON & HARRIET DECAUSE CLINTON GRANDFATHER &
GRANDMOTHER OF CORA WEEKS WATKINSON". This photo come s with the frame it is shown
in."

Hello, I am looking for information on a Henry Clinton that had a
sister Anna Clinton Bond. Henry married Grace Eva Low Studebaker and
had something to do with The Manse where Nathaniel Hawthone or
Longfellow lived. Any information would be appreciated and i will
share.
