Beginning March 2nd, 2020 the Mailing Lists functionality on RootsWeb will be discontinued. Users will no longer be able to send outgoing emails or accept incoming emails. Additionally, administration tools will no longer be available to list administrators and mailing lists will be put into an archival state.
Administrators may save the emails in their list prior to March 2nd. After that, mailing list archives will remain available and searchable on RootsWeb
Upset my thinking, I have never known that to be anything but
healthy. And fun.

I do not want to upset your thinking, but as I recall, you refer to the
Oklahoma Indian reservation. Edward Elijah Clingan lived in the Tennessee
reservation around Chatanooga, and is buried at Ooltewah TN. You can learn
all about him by going to The Clingan Connection at:
http://www,chesco.com/~sbarnes/clingan-family/ when you get there look at
links ,then go to The Pennsylvania Clingans
by Wally Clingan put your find under edit on Alexander Adams Clingan and
begin to search his family. There you will find Edward Elijah Clingan.

Beth, this is so interesting. I have lately had the thought that the
Clingen name in my ancestry may not reflect a blood link, but rather my
grandmother's gratitude to someone named Clingen. And they lived right
next to Indian territory before getting married. Your note right off
plays to this fantasy of mine, as I imagine (with no proof whatsoever)
the reasons one might have to feel such gratitude.
