I see it ran my last name into my email address.

FUNK - HAMMACK - CLINE Family Photograph
I am not a Funk relative but this might be a Cline line related to me. If no one else claims the photo, I can take it. My Clines moved to what is today Noble Co., OH from Tom's Brook in Shennandoah Co., VA in the early 1800s. They also lived in Guernsey Co., OH (Oxford Township). There also are the Monroe Co. Clines who descend from Hans George Cline. It is also possible this photo is the descendant of the John Cline (not my John Cline) who fought in the Revolutionary War who also lived in Tom's Brook (probably related to my John but the exact kinship has not been established). This John Cline ended up in Indiana. That's where he collected in Revolutionary War pension.?

I've "rescued" an old photograph identified as Mary FUNK which was taken at
the Sittler and Launey Art Emporium in Shelbyville, IL.? The photograph
appears to have been taken in the 1870's with Mary likely in her 70's at the
time it was taken.? In addition to her name, someone has written "Aunt" on
the back of the photograph.? I believe that this is a photograph of Marium
"Mary" HAMMUCK FUNK.? Based on limited research I was able to locate the
following information regarding Mary and her family as follows:
Mariam HAMMAC or HAMMACK or HAMMUCK was b. 10 Jan 1800 in Hampshire Co.,
Virginia to parents John HAMMACK and Catherine CLINE.? She married Hosea
Briton FUNK (b. 1800 in Rockingham Co VA-d. 28 Dec 1881 in Shelby Co. IL the
son of John FUNK and Jemima BRITAIN) on 3 Apr 1823 in Guernsey, OH.? The
couple had 9 children including, Jemima Catherine; John; Benjamin; Lemuel
N.; Samuel Silas; Joseph B.; Silas; Hosea H.; and Sarah Maria FUNK, all born
in Guernsey Co. OH between 1825 and 1838.? Mariam or Murium died 30 Jul 1879
in Shelby Co. IL and is buried in the Glenwood Cemetery in Shelbyville, IL.
A son Hosea H. FUNK (1836-1930) is also buried in the same cemetery with his
parents.
Census records provide the following details:
1860 census of Shelby Co. IL:
Hosea FUNK, age 60, born VA
Mary FUNK, age 60, born IL
Sarah MALIS, age 21, born IL
I am hoping to locate someone from this family so that the photograph can be
returned to the care of her family.? If you are a member of this FUNK Family
or you know someone who might be, please contact me.
Thanks,
Shelley
