I am still trying to find information on George Washington Cline husband
of Narcissus Newton Cline. I know they were married in NC.
They moved to Hill County TX in the mid to late 1800's. I have tried to
find where he is buried and where Narcissus is buried with no
luck. We know they lived in the Whitney area. George and his family
worked on the Stiner Valley Ranch. Anyone with any information
on them PLEASE contact me.

Am interested in info on a George H. CLINE (or KLINE) who married Nancy M.EHLE (28 Oct 1845 Palantine Reformed Dutch Church of Stone Arabia, Montgomery, NY).
The earliest info I have on George is the above. Don't know who his parents are. I am leaning toward a Knapthaler & Catherine Cline who appear next to George & Nancy in several censuses. Age would indicate they are father/son.
George & Nancy had a son, Charles Milford (or Milford Charles - b 6 Aug 1854 Saint Johnsville, Saint Johns Dutch Reformed Church, Montgomery, NY). Charles is my ggrandfather. He married Sarah HOFFMAN (born in 1853 in the same area).
Sarah's parents are Charles & Lovisa HOFFMAN (TIBBETS). They were married 16 JAN 1840, Saint Johnsville, Montgomery, SJ Dutch Ref Church. Charles is listed as having been born in Herkimer on the 1855 census. In 1875, Charles & Sarah are living with Sarah's parents.
I believe the Clines are German, as are the Hoffmans, but all info on census that I have (the earliest is 1855) shows them all as being born in NY. The fact that they are in "Oppenheim Twnshp" also suggests this.
Would like to trace them back further & see when they came to US & if they are German, where in Germany they came from. If Dutch, as some have indicated, would like to know the same.
Thanks.
