Hello,
I'm posting to several lists, so please excuse receipt of duplicate copies.
Perhaps I'm all excited about a wonderful database that everyone knew about but me,
but I just ran across it today...and am passing it along to those who might be interested
I is a database of census statistics for all census running from 1790 to 1960
You can set variables that you would like to see...such as number of person of
English/Welsh Nationality, Irish, German, French, Dutch etc. Total Population..how many families with 1-over 11 members.
Found it interesting that in 1790 there were only 4 persons of German nationality in Connecticut, but there were over 110,000 Germans in Pennsylvania.
I'm a nut for statistical comparison...so am in number crunching heaven
You can also generate a graphical presentation of various data

Hope this interests some of you

Is there anyone on this list that has the book "Descendants of Michael Klein," by A. Campbell Cline or know where I might get a copy?
Thank you.

Looking for additional information on the descendants of Samuel Keene who was
born about 1800 in either Pennsylvania or Virginia, came through Ohio &
Kentucky until he settled in Wyatt, Mississippi Co., MO.
He received a military land certficate and became a large farmer and
landowner.
Samuel Keene Sr. & unknown wife had children:
Ann b. OH m. Brown b. in KY (probably stayed in KY)
Polly b. OH m. 1849 Allen Willis, Miss. Co., MO
Benjamin (b. 1825 OH) m. 1852 Martha E. Davis, Miss. Co., MO
Elisha (b. 1832 OH) m. 1841 Sarah Anne Underwood

Nothing is known about Samuel's first wife other than she may have died in KY
since their last child Samuel Jr. was supposedly born in KY.
Samuel Keene Sr. & widow Catherine Cline married 1848, Miss. Co., MO. Here
are their children together:
Frances Keene (b: 1848 MO) m. 1865 Sam Driver, Miss. Co., MO

Mr. Cline & wife Catherine ? (who later married Samuel Keene Sr.) had the
following children: (on early censuses, they appear as CLINE and in later
censuses, these are shown as KEENE)
Ira Cline (b. 1836 OH) m. abt 1862 Lucinda Parker, Miss. Co., MO
m. 1872 Mahala Duty, Miss. Co., MO
Charles Cline (b: abt 1838 OH) d. abt 1863
Lucinda Cline (b: 1839 OH) m. 1856 Thomas Kanley Parker, Miss. Co., MO
Aaron Cline (b: abt 1845)
I have much more information on this family, but I'm looking for connections
to some of the descendants who either still live in the Mississippi Co.
vicinity or who have moved away.
