Beginning March 2nd, 2020 the Mailing Lists functionality on RootsWeb will be discontinued. Users will no longer be able to send outgoing emails or accept incoming emails. Additionally, administration tools will no longer be available to list administrators and mailing lists will be put into an archival state.
Administrators may save the emails in their list prior to March 2nd. After that, mailing list archives will remain available and searchable on RootsWeb
Thanks Barbara - I appreciate your coming forward to take the reins of the
Cline list.
Pam, treasure your husband.

Hello Pam,
Sorry to see you leave. I do understand as in the past, I have also
been in the position that you are now. You have done very well with the list
and I know that it is a "Labor of Love" as I have several list.
I would be very interested in being the administrator of the CLINE list.
Blessings, Barbara Cline Hutchinson

List,
Due to a lack of time, I can not admin the list the way it needs. Between
all the list that I have adopted, there is to many list bounces, blocked
spam, etc. to wade through after being gone for 10 hrs. a day. I would
rather have that time to spend with my husband.
If anyone is interested in adopting, please let me know. After a few days,
if I hear from no one I will turn the list back over to RootsWeb to put on
the adoption list.

In 1947, Walter "Rusty" Cline was a soldier in California. I believe
Pittsburgh, California. He met my sister and after about a 2 week courtship
they got married at the Chapel on base. He got shipped out and she came
home to Pa. She was only 17 years old.
After he got out of the service, he came to Pa. and they set up housekeeping. Not long after she became pregnant and he left her for parts unknown. He has a son who is now 50+ years old, that never knew who his Father was. She refused to tell him anything. He had a heart attack and the Doctors wanted a Medical History. He couldn't give them one. He had asked several times why his last name was different than his siblings, but she would never tell him. I was only 6 at the time, but I remember hearing that his family was from Texas. Any one know of a Walter CLine with the nickname Rusty ? His son would sure like to know something about him.
I have started a list at Yahoo for Cline researchers of WV. If you would
like to join send a message to Cline-WV-subscribe(a)yahoogroups.com.
Hope to see you there.
