I'm told that Jacob Cline is part of my family, but he would have been
older.
Mine came to the United States around 1770 as a young man from Germany,
but I can't prove it.
All I know for sure was my great grandfather was George Washington Cline
who fought in the Civil War, my grandfather was Robert E. Lee Cline and
my dad was Claude Cline and his brother was William Walker (Bill) Cline
who fought in World War 1..

This is my great-aunt's death certificate I received the other day and I
just want to share the information in case it helps some one else. Ida Bell
Cline was the daughter of Isaac Cline and Sarah Ann Matson on Guernsey
County, Ohio, and the granddaughter of David Cline of Noble County, Ohio.
>From the certificate:
State of Ohio, Bureau of Vital Statistics, Certificate of Death, County of
Franklin, Registration District No. 186, File No. 13798, Primary
Registration District No. 5025, Registered No. 701, City of Columbus, No.
2471 Summit Street, 12th Ward. As her married name, it is given Ida C.
Breasock (probably C. for Cline). Date of birth Dec. 24, 1866 (which
corresponds with the date I have in the family Bible). White female. Date of
death March 19, 1910. Age 43 years, 2 months, 25 days. Married (husband Fred
L. Breasock was the informant). Born in Ohio, father Isaac Cline, and mother
Sarah Matson, both born in Ohio. She was attended by Dr. E. G. Horton from
Dec. 21, 1909 until March 19, 1910, when she died at 5 p.m. from "phthisis
pulmonolis" which, near as I can make out with my Bantam Medical Dictionary
is tuberculosis, which she had for "probably 2 years" with a contributory
cause of "pulmonary hemorrhage." She was buried in Cambridge, Ohio, on March
22, 1910. The undertaker was The H.H. Shawles (hard to read) at 686 N. High
Street, Cambridge, Ohio. The death certificate was filed on March 21, 1910.
Still looking for information on John Cline b 1776 & his wife Elizabeth (surname???) b 1776. John died 2 Jun 1846 & Elizabeth died 24 Jan 1842. Both died in Ross Co, Ohio & are buried in Concord Twp. Any info on parentage, birth places, siblings, children, etc would be appreciated.
These are the Klines I have. Do you recongnize them? They all lived in
Middleway at first and at the end. Charlie

I am searching for Clines or Klines from the area of Winchester, Virginia
or Yellow Spring, West Virginia. Specifically, I would like to find
descendents of John Jacob Klein and Eva Dusong.
They had 14 children who settled around the area. If anyone has ancestors
from this area we may be able to find a connection.
