This is an announcement made by Rootsweb. Wanted to let you know when the
system went down, why you would be having problems.

Starting at 8 a.m. PST Friday, February 23, RootsWeb will begin
a planned
temporary downtime for maintenance of its servers and hosting
process. It
will limit this downtime as much as possible, and will return
with increased
performance and reliability for future growth.
In the meantime, please take time to visit RootsWeb.com's sister
sites --
Ancestry.com and FamilyHistory.com -- where you will find
additional tools
such as message boards, communities, and databases to help you
in the search
for your ancestors.
Thank you for your patience.

while trying to sort out some of the Revolutionary War Muster records i
found several things which puzzled..
first; in a list of discharges from the Germany Regiment a notation
was made after more than a few of the names " DO perhaps D.O. "
does anyone know the meaning of that notation??
second:
in a list of discharges from Lt Col Weltner's Co, German Regiment there
was a
listing of a Jacob Kline discharged 1779
he was b 1749 d 1828
m. katherine barkman in 1790
child.. jacob
george b. 16 Dec 1790 m Elizabeth Marker
however george kline b 16 Dec 1790 who married Eliz Marker was the son
of
George Adam Kline b 1746 m Catherine Weaver (Weber)
however allowing for immense coincidence
does anyone recognise this RW veteran Jacob Kline or his wife Katherine
Barkman?

Subject: [CLINE] Tuscaloosa Cline family?
> I ordered my grandfather's social security application which revealed the
following: Samuel Andrew Cline born 1899 in Tuscaloosa AL and his parents
were Michael Luther Cline and Katherine Allie Dobbs. My grandfather died in
1980 in Pensacola Florida. While I can easily research my mother's family,
I am severly informationally challenged with my father's family. If this
sounds familiar or if you have any suggestions please let me know.
