Re: [CLINE] Roll Call - John Cline, MD thru VA, PA into Tazewell Co. Illinois
by Angie, Cliff & Olivia Presley
I am a Cline desendant and I am a great-great-great-great granddaughter of
Nicholas Cline born in Germany in 1745. He married Mary (Creager) Krieger
in about 1772. They had 10 children, one being a John Cline who married an
Elizabeth Corvin from Wythe County, Virginia. This John had a brother named
George who was also born in Wythe County. George married a lady by the name
of Jemima Grubb. Some of your children's names match some of the names that
I have for children of John, but not all of them. The John I have has a son
named Granville who would be my great-great-great grandfather. Granville
had a son named Albert who was my great-great grandfather. Albert's son
Grover was grandfather. All of these are born in Wythe County, Virginia. I
don't know of what help that this can be, bet I can give you more if needed.
