I'm also seeking Clines and Fullers, but I show him in New Jersey before Pa. Did they come into New Jersey and then move to Pa. My Clime parents are buried in Woodlands Cem in Philadelphia. Yours? I tried to pull up Cline/Kline in the new Ancestry free census searches but got a reject. Did Peter have a brother named Samuel? My last Clime ancestor was Mary who md Wm Campbell, an accountant.

Subject: Re: [CLINE] cline's
Let me give you some accurate information on Jacob Cline. His father Peter
was born about 1856, either in the Palatinate region of Germany or somewhere
in the colonies, PA or NY. I could not identify him from the passenger lists
of immigrants or from birth records. His military record, taken from his
pension application and shown in the original copy on page 35 of my book,
states that he joined the Pennsylvania Militia in 1774, and also indicates
his birth date as about 1856. Jacob was born about 1790 in Virginia,
probably in Montgomery County, since Peter was there in 1787.(See page 39).
I was not able to identify Jacob's first wife, but he had children Allen,
born about 1820 and William Trigg, born 1924 in Pike County, KY. Jacob
married Nancy Fuller about 1827 and had eight children, the last being
Jacob, born 1846 in Logan County, VA (WV). Page 49. This Jacob married
Rebecca Taylor November 2, 1865, in Pike County, KY. Page 63.
I did not find any further information on this Jacob, so we must assume that
he left the Tug River area. Hope this helps. Cecil Cline.

I am trying to find my GGGrfather Thomas M. Cline (s), according to his
tombstone he was born 1845 in Kansas City (?). On the 1880 Newton Co., TX
census it shows he was from IN. He married Sarah Ann Bradshaw 10Jul1870.
Tom died 1Mar1928 in Jasper Co., TX. They are both buried in Jasper Co., TX.
Please, if you can help me I would appreciate it greatly. I am up against a
brick wall with him.

William Trigg born 1824, Pike County KY, son of Jacob Cline, mother unknown.
Jacob had two sons, William Trigg and Allen , by first wife. Jacob became
known as Rich Jake because of his extensive land holdings along the Tug
River. His father was Peter Cline, born about 1756. Cecil
do you know who william trigg dad is?? im stumped on him...i found him on a
file someone sent me but it lists two william trigg cline s but it list same
family but different fathers of william trigg..on lists him being the son of
jacob cline and another one list him being son of joseph cline...which one is
it....
