My gggrandfather was Hiram B. Cline also from Indiana. He ended up in LA
and was shown in the 1850 census, age 37, in St. Helena Parrish, LA. I have

Most Palatine Germans that came to this country between 1710 and 1760 (and
later) lived in the area known as Alsace-Lorraine which has been both
French and German over the centuries. The usual route of migration was
up-river to Rotterdam where they took passage on ships bound for America,
usually with a stop in England.

I have in an article a Thomas Cline who was b 13 Jan 1827 m to a Margaret who
had 12 children, all living. Listed are dau Maggie, son Garland, & dau Jennie
in the home in 1900 census with Isasc & Marshall living nearby. this is the
1900 census Washingtoin Co AR, I believe. Thomas was son of a George M cline
in Washington Co AR. I have not investigated this family, but kept the
article because my Wm H cline, I think, is shis brother. Billie
I am researching my ggrfather Thomas M. Cline born 1845. According to his tombstone he was from Kansas City, but I don't know if it was Kansas or Missouri. I found him on the 1880 Newton Co., TX census and it shows him to be from Indiana. He married Sarah Ann Bradshaw in Franklin Co., MS. If anyone has even the slightese hint of info it would be greatly appreciated.

Dear Lorene,
I don't remember if I got a blank e-mail because I go through my mail
quickly and delete everything I don't understand without thinking. All I
know is your confession and apology was worth savoring because it is so
rare. Then you blessed us readers at the ending. Well, all I can say is "God
bless you back! Cheers!
