I have a pretty good Cline tree going back to George Cline, who was born in
Germany in 1740 and died in Marietta OH in 1795. I also know that the second
generation and many later ones were concentrated in W. Virginia and Ohio, so I
don't have any Peters in the family unless they were perhaps brothers or
uncles of George. Does anyone know of a link there, or anything at all about
George and his forebears?
Thanks - Arthur Cline Day

Rebecca started from. Spent a day at local LDS but not much information.
Did find the following statements:
* Rebecca Murphy b. 1810 Montgomery Cty.- Father
William Murphy
* Philip Kline (Male) (Misc) about 1827 - Father Abraham
Cline from Hampshire Ct. VA.
* 1850 Census IA - Philip, Richland Twp. pg 208.
I have the obits for Philip and Rebecca, however, very little information.
Would appreciate any information. Thanks. Janet Papke

son..John Hart, who became a Doctor and lived in Howard Co, MO
Daughter..Elizabeth Hart..b 1833..Parkersburg, WV(reportedly)
Daughter..Angeline Virginia Hart..b 1835..Howard Co, MO...{my gg grandmother)
After Angeline was born in 1835, the family went to Lewis Co, KY. John Hart
died sometime bet1835 and 1843 when Phebe remarried James Redden in Lewis Co,
KY.
I also have found a citing that she married Moses Hart(brother of John Hart)

Me, too. My William H (I think) CLINE was b in PA, according to several
censuses (1850/60/70/80) and his daughter's death certificate. Sharon
I would be extremely happy if I could find my Wm H Cline's parents, or even
where he was born except in MC in 1810 or 1811 according to the census.
Billie.
Cousins,
William F. and William H. Cline is a very common name. I
great-grandfather was William F. Cline, Born 1833 in Kentucky, and my
grandfather was William Henry Cline, Born 1859 in Hickman County, KY. I
have verified my William Clines in census records and death certificate.
It is very easy to get confused but the thing we all must do is document
our sources and put the information on the net and hope we connect.
