Dorothy Clinard
Dorothy Mae Clinard, 87, Clarksville, died Tuesday April 13, 2004 at Gateway
Medical Center, Clarksville.
The funeral was held April 17 at McReynolds Nave & Larson Funeral Home,
Clarksville with the Rev. Robert Redfern officiating. Burial was in Greenwood
Cemetery, Clarksville.
She was born Feb 6, 1917 in Montgomery County, daughter of Charlie and Mary
Jane Lehman O'Bryan. She was the widow of Robert William Clinard.
Mrs Clinard was a homemaker and a member of First United Methodist Church.
Survivors include four sons, Bobby Clinard, Springfield, James Clinard,
Clarksville, Charlie Clinard, Cumberland City, and David Clinard, Adams ; a
daughter Mary Frances Brodley , Clarksville; a sister Eva Benton, Guthrie KY.; nine
grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren and a great great grandchild.
Pallbearers were Wallace O'Bryan, Charles Shelby, Russell Shelby, Larry
Clinard, Stevie Clinard, Raymond Clinard and Tommie Clinard.

Jeanette Knott
Jeanette Knott, 86, Dover, died Wednesday June 16, 2004 at the Manor House of
Dover.
The funeral was June 18 at Anglin Funeral Home with the Rev. Morris Lee
officiating. Burial was in Taylor's Cemetery, Big Rock.
Mrs. Knott was born Dec 16, 1917 in Stewart County, daughter of James A. and
Hettie Wallace Clinard. She was a homemaker and a member of Dover Church of
Christ.
Survivors include her husband, Otis Knott, Dover; four sons, Dean Knott and
Roger Knott, both of Dover, Donnie Knott, Murfreesboro and Neil Knott, East
Alton, Ill; three daughters, Joyce Baker, Ocean City, MD., Lois Keel , Dover and
Sandra Paschal , Paris,Tenn; two brothers, Max Clinard and Claude Rider both
of Granite City, ILL; a sister, Opal Hutchison , Granite City, ILL; 18
grandchildren and 24 great grandchildren.
Pallbearers were Eugene Gafford, Wendell Gafford, David Keel, Rickie Keel,
Kenny Knott and Timmy Knott.

Mrs. Nannie Elizabeth Phillips, 87, died Sunday, Dec 23 in Hopkins County
Hospital, Madisonville, KY, after a short illness.
Funeral services were conducted Wednesday, Dec 26 at 10;00 a.m. at Wilee's
Chapel United Methodist Church, Woodlawn, Tenn., by Rev. Scotty Phillips. Burial
was in Wilee's Chapel Cemetery with Milligan Funeral Home in charge.
Mrs. Phillips was born in Stewart County Oct 10, 1886, daughter of the late
Betty Miller and Joseph Clinard. Her husband, Edward Phillips preceded her in
death.
Survivors include four sons; Homer and Edward Phillips, Woodlawn , Tenn,
James Phillips of Dawson Springs KY., and Joe Phillips of Clarksville; five
daughters, Mrs. Mable Reed, Woodlawn, Tenn; Mrs Ruby Miller, Dawson Springs KY.;
Mrs. Louise Simpson, Princeton KY.; Dorothy Fields, Dawson Springs, KY and Mrs.
Elizabeth Lehman of Indian Mound Tenn; one brother, Mr. George Clinard,
Woodlawn, Tenn.; one sister, Mrs Addied Harrison of Hopkinsville.
Pallbearers were Earl Clinard, Tony Clinard, Floyd Phillips, Kerry Lehman,
Jimmy Darnell and Charlie Shemwell.
She was a member of the Church of Christ, Rose Hill, Montgomery County, Tenn.
( She was also sister of Mary Luda Clinard Stamper and Jodie Clinard , )
they were probably already deceased by the time of Nannies death
Mary L. Clinard Stamper died 23 May 1950 in St. Louis,MO and is buried in
Friedens Cemetery there along with her husband Silas E. Stamper
I do not have any information on Jodie Clinard a younger sister.
