I have that Alexander Clinard and family in my database, but I didn't
have the name Martha, only Margaret. If it is Martha Margeret, it sure
looks like a match.
FIRST GENERATION (not sure if this all correct)
1. Alexander CLINARD was born in 1795 in Virginia.
He was married to Margaret in 1828. Margaret was born in 1808 in
Tennessee. Alexander CLINARD and Margaret had the following children:
+2 i. Thomas CLINARD (born in 1828).
+3 ii. Alexander CLINARD (born in 1831).
+4 iii. William H. CLINARD (born on April 23, 1837).
5 iv. Melviny CLINARD was born in 1839 in Tennessee.
6 v. George CLINARD was born in 1841 in Tennessee.
+7 vi. Sarah E. CLINARD (born in 1844).
+8 vii. Zachariah CLINARD (born in 1849).
SECOND GENERATION
2. Thomas CLINARD was born in 1828 in Stewart Co., TN.
He was married to Mary WHITEHURST on September 4, 1850 in Stewart Co.,
TN. Mary WHITEHURST was born in 1836.
3. Alexander CLINARD was born in 1831 in Stewart Co., TN.
He was married to Elizabeth (Betsey) BUSEY on March 23, 1854 in Stewart
Co., TN. Elizabeth (Betsey) BUSEY was born in 1835. Alexander CLINARD and
Elizabeth (Betsey) BUSEY had the following children:
9 i. William CLINARD was born in 1858 in Stewart Co., TN.

following children:
12 i. Elbert PRINCE was born on March 12, 1868.
8. Zachariah CLINARD was born in 1849 in Tennessee.
I also wonder if Alexander, Philip, and John Clinard (all born VA)
have a connection with Henry Clynard since he was in VA
From the following website:

14 F iii Mary ROSENBAUM was born about 1770 in , Lancs, PA.
Mary married (1) John HINKLE on 26 Feb 1790 in , Rowan, NC.
Mary also married (2) Henry CLYNARD on 7 Dec 1790 in , Wythe, VA.

Clynard, Henry
Just on a hunch I checked the Tax List, and sure enough, also listed in
the same district (lower district) as Henry Clynard was an Archaleus
Brumley. Was this Brumley related to Cornelius Brumley, whose daughters
married Alexander and Philip Clynard?
I have speculated this Henry Clynard may be the Henry Clinard mentioned
in the 1802 will of Philip Kleinert. If married in 1790 he would have been
born 1769 or earlier.

Virginia Blanch Clinard, daughter of Andrew D. Clinard, Jr., was born September 1860 in TN. She married Young Hamilton Wynn January 11, 1881 in Clarke Co, Ga. according to a marriage certificate recorded in Clarke Co. However, Virginia Blanch apparently relocated alone to Floyd Co, GA, probably with her parents, A.D. and Mary, who moved there in the 1880's, and later records record her under the Clinard maiden name again.
On the 1900 Census Floyd Co, GA, Enumeration District 111, Sheet 3, Line 71, she is counted with her mother, Mary Clinard. Her father had already died there in 1887. Their address was 829 Rivers, Cave Springs, Floyd County, GA. Blanch's birth date is listed as September 1860 in Tennessee.
She was also listed on the 1892 Floyd Co, GA Tax Digest.
I am curious as to whatever happened to Virginia Blanch Clinard and to her spouse, Young Hamilton Wynn too? I checked Clarke Co, GA and found nothing else on him there. And did Virginia Blanch Clinard remain in Floyd Co, GA until her death? Perhaps she remarried and her last name changed. Does anyone have any record of her after the 1900 census?

Hi All,
I recently found the following:
From
http://members.aol.com/DANJOBRO/pafg09.htm#255
CORNELIUS NEELY BROMLEY BROUMLEY was christened 1820. He married Elizabeth
Morgan on 6 Jul 1802 in , DAVIDSON, TENN.
Elizabeth Morgan was christened 1820. She married CORNELIUS NEELY BROMLEY
BROUMLEY on 6 Jul 1802 in , DAVIDSON, TENN.
They had the following children:
F i Martha Ann BROUMLEY
M ii JOHN BROUMLEY
F iii NANCY BROUMLEY
F iv UNKNOWN BROUMLEY was born 1804.
M v ALEX BROUMLEY
ALEXANDER CLYNARD married Martha Ann BROUMLEY on 19 Nov 1825 in ,
Williamson, TENN.
Martha Ann BROUMLEY was born 1808 in , Williamson, TENN. She married
ALEXANDER CLYNARD on 19 Nov 1825 in , Williamson, TENN.
PHILIP CLYNARD married NANCY BROUMLEY on 15 Jun 1825 in , DAVIDSON, TENN.
NANCY BROUMLEY was born in , DAVIDSON, TENN. She married PHILIP CLYNARD on
15 Jun 1825 in, DAVIDSON, TENN.
Not sure if this is new to the list or not. If this is correct, then I
would tend to think that this Alexander Clynard and Philip Clynard were
brothers who married sisters. We know that PHILIP CLYNARD, who married
NANCY BROUMLEY had a son named Joseph Cornelius Clinard.
FIRST GENERATION
1. Philip CLINARD was born in 1803 in Tennessee or Virginia. 1850
Montgomery Co., TN census states birthplace as TN. Apparently moved to
Illinois in early 1850's
He was married to Nancy BRUMLY on June 15, 1825 in Davidson Co.,
Tennessee. Nancy BRUMLY was born in 1812 in Tennessee. She died in
Tennessee. Philip CLINARD and Nancy BRUMLY had the following children:
+2 i. Joseph Cornelius CLINARD (born on July 24, 1828).
3 ii. Robert CLINARD was born in 1833.
4 iii. Parthena CLINARD was born in 1835.
5 iv. William CLINARD was born in 1837.
6 v. Sarah CLINARD was born in 1838.
7 vi. Sebina? Elizabeth (Betty) CLINARD was born in 1840.
8 vii. Philip CLINARD was born in 1842.
9 viii. Isaac (Ishia) Jefferson CLINARD was born on
December 26, 1847.
10 ix. John G. CLINARD was born in 1849.
I wonder if Joseph Cornelius was named after both of his
grandfathers. If so, then Joseph Clinard may have been the father of
Alexander and Philip Clinard. What do you think?
