Beginning March 2nd, 2020 the Mailing Lists functionality on RootsWeb will be discontinued. Users will no longer be able to send outgoing emails or accept incoming emails. Additionally, administration tools will no longer be available to list administrators and mailing lists will be put into an archival state.
Administrators may save the emails in their list prior to March 2nd. After that, mailing list archives will remain available and searchable on RootsWeb
Thank you to everyone who responded. I'm not the only one who can't log
on....apparently MyFamily.com is having some server problems. Hopefully
they won't last too long!
Have a very enjoyable weekend!
Chris

Is anyone else having problems accessing the Clinard site at
MyFamily.com? I've tried to log on twice in the past two days and it
tells me there is "no response from server." My other MyFamily.com
sites come up just fine.

Greetings to all Clinard researchers. Hope that all had a great holiday and best wishes to you in the new year.
To restate my particular search, in case there are any newcomers to the list, I am seeking the line of Jacob Livingston Clinard, who was born about 1823 (October 6, 1823 according to his grave stone), probably in NC. He died in April 1900 in Decatur Co, GA. Married Nancy Lamert December 28, 1848 in Decatur Co, GA.
We believe he descended from the same line as did Davis Clinard, Sr., since my Jacob named his first son Davis Hamilton Clinard, and his second son Jacob Franklin Clinard, my g-grandfather.
The 1830 census in Tallahassee, Leon Co, FL, has a Jacob Clinard enumerated there. This was probably my Jacob's father or uncle. Leon Co borders Georgia near Decatur Co. I have researched Decatur Co fairly extensively and still haven't discovered the missing link to Jacob Livingston Clinard's line. I haven't been able to do much on-site research in Leon Co, but I plan to in the future.
I greatly appreciate any help with this line.
